Lovely wooden bungalows, great location, outdoor areas need some nurturing

Cleaning of rooms was sporadic- a daily sweep and mop would be an easy fix. The property would be gorgeous if the open space and gardens were nurtured like other properties nearby.

The wooden bungalows are beautiful, spacious with huge, firm beds and great air-con. We loved the outdoor bathroom and hammock.

A square of simple wooden huts beside the main dock
    • Leisure trip

    • Coconut Bungalow
    • Stayed 3 nights

The staff were very friendly, bed was comfy, and the wooden huts were spacious and interesting. The breakfast was tasty and the WiFi worked. It was simple but decent value for money. For me the main drawback was that it was not the most picturesque part of the island, but it could be a convenient location for anyone wanting to be near the dock.

Towels had holes in them, mosquitoes (but there's a net for the bed, which is great!) and only salt water for the shower. However, plenty of fresh water was provided so I just used the kettle with fresh water to wash up after snorkeling.

Very nice to have a whole bungalow. Lots of space, nice view, comfy bed. I got sick while I was on the island and the staff was super caring. No bed bugs by the way.

The cold salt water shower but there is no fresh water on the island but more expensive hotels would probably have desalination facilities but they do provide fresh water in huge water bottles & a plastic tub so you can wash with fresh water & it's very warm on the island so cold water isn't a huge issue. Large bottles of fresh drinking are also provided

Location was excellent quiet but a 2 minute walk to best beach & to restaurants etc. The staff were great Udi supplied everything we needed. Lovely cottage with huge enclosed outdoor bathroom & large covered deck with chairs & hammock. We stayed 2 weeks & would definitely come back again - good value for money

Unfortunately the WiFi didn’t worked in the rooms. You had to go to the harbour (50 meters). But I think they’re fixing it right now

It was very quite. You stay next to the harbour and have some options to get lunch and dinner. Nice staff, very friendly and helpful.

Common area could have done with a bit of a refresh, although bungalows themselves great inside, spacious and comfortable with facilities to lock away valuables while snorkeling.

Very close to port so convenient in terms of ongoing travel back to Bali and proximity to harbour side restaurants. Bungalows presented well, representing good value for money. Staff extremely friendly and lovely banana pancake for breakfast.

Nice place for a good price:) Don’t expect a fancy hotel but for the price you have a nice place to stay. He also rents snorkel equipment for a good price. The breakfast was really nice, best banana pancakes we had this vacation. The host is a friendly guy!

When I mentioned to the staff they should get nets or spray the room (like many other accommodations do), they said I got them from being outside. But the place was so great that I literally didn’t leave the room after dark. I got take out and chilled in the room. So just make sure you lather yourself with bug spray before bedtime.

The place is super cute and great location. I would’ve given it a 10 rating, but I woke up with over 100 mosquito bites. So many that I honestly wondered if it was bed bugs.

Could have been a bit cleaner. A little worn down with some overdue maintenance issues. There are other places that are better value for money.

Closely located to the jetty. Comfortable with a much-needed air conditioning. Walkable distance to cafes and restaurants. A quiet and friendly family-run place. We organised a snorkeling trip through the accommodation which was a great experience and affordable.

The entrance of the bungalow sourronded and shaded by palm trees had a private area perfect to chill in the hot hours of the day on the private amaca or chairs or in the evening having some drinks.

Sadly the furnishing was a little bit old and needed a bit of renovation. Small improvements like new towel rail or new bedding’s would be an improvement.

The stuff was really nice and helpful. The location was direct close to the Harper and the wooden bungalows looked really beautiful.

It's not well looked after. The bathroom didn't have any proper light as the bulb was disfunctional, had to use my phone torchlight. The nightstand lamp didn't even have a plug at the end of the cable, so why bother. It wasn't possible to spread the mosquito net over the whole of the bed, as it was nailed crumbled up to the wall. All these things would be an easy fix if there was staff around to address.

The location is great, close to dive shops and the ferry, which is good if you have a lot of luggage. The room and bathroom was clean.

Mosquitoes in the poorly insulated rooms which necessitates the use of the net over the bed but that’s over the entire island.

Fantastic property right at the harbour! Great yard, lot of space, roomy cottages past their prime, humongous decks, open-air bathrooms. Great friendly staff (especially Shakti), clean beds, effective and full mosquito nets and good breakfasts. Big 25-litre cans of fresh water for drinking and freshening up. If you’re lucky you’ll have local wildlife, a monitor lizard sunning itself on the bathroom wall in the mornings (somebody complained about one in the toilet bowl but they’re harmless and absolutely nothing to worry about). We stayed six nights and only left because we couldn’t get an extension.

The pictures on booking match the majority of the rooms. We were put in another room for the first night which seemed a little more dated. We were able to move into the room advertised on Booking.com for the remainder of our trip though.

Staff are absolutely lovely. They would help with anything needed. Breakfast was basic but good. The location is good. There's plenty of good food choices around and being so close to the pier was ideal.

My husband and I had different views (lol) but overall what I didn’t like was the missing creature comforts. The bungalows are very basic, but if you have cash to burn head to BASK for the day and rent a daybed.

The price, location and mattress were all good. The staff were lovely - they fixed or attended to anything we needed.

There were cobwebs in the rooms and a spiders nest in the mosquito net, so we didn’t end up using it. There were also bed bugs so we left after one night. We felt uncomfortable during the night especially because we could hear insects flying around. There was no wifi either
