New ZealandThere are mosquitos, so keep the door closed and apply repellent. We didn't get bitten by using these simple measures. The towels are microfibre which we're not a fan of.
Great location, quiet, a short walk to the beach and with some lovely shops and cafe's just around the corner. Lovely staff, very helpful, gentle and kind. Nice pools and lots of areas to relax and read. Good bikes to rent at normal prices.

Great accomodation. I slept so peacefully and that says something about the care and warmth with which this place is managed. The host Lella and her manager Dodi were extremely helpful and took proactive measures to ensure that everything was in place for me and my wife.

A really spacious and clean property with a lovely pool and exquisite decoration! Friendly welcome, snorkelling masks were free to use and easy to access, with Padel courts and some great food options + the beautiful beaches and sunset in the north of the island. Thanks for the leaving gift too - a really lovely touch!

United KingdomIt was a bit of a walk from the port, as I’m not too keen on using horse and carriage. But I wouldn’t even consider this a negative because it’s on the better side of the island in my opinion.
Lovely friendly staff, easy check-in, rented bikes. The space was lovely, air conditioning worked well. Felt comfortable and safe. The area was the perfect location!

The design is very nice, everything is made from wood and they take sustainability, ecology, and waste very seriously. What made my stay more pleasant was the receptionist Dodi, who was very friendly and helped me a lot with recommendations of things to do in Gilli Air. Dodi is very good in his job, and you can see that he is experienced in the hospitality industry. Thank you very much for making my stay more pleasant.

The place is very well thought out for guests, nice areas to hang out, the rooms has everything you need, the bikes were handy and the pools were lovely. There are great warungs and cafes near by. I would recommend staying here to anyone and hope to bring friends and family here with us next time.

Our stay at Sampai Jumpa was fantastic and exceeded all expectations. Lella, the owner, has truly poured her heart and soul into this place, and it shows in every detail. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she made us feel welcome from the start. In just four nights, it felt like we’d built a genuine connection with her. The property is in a peaceful part of Gili Air, perfect for those who want to relax away from the crowds. Everything is brand new and spotlessly clean. The two pools with crystal-clear water were a highlight, and the facilities had everything we could ask for. From organizing excursions and bike rentals to sorting out laundry, Lella ensured every need was taken care of with ease. Sampai Jumpa is truly a hidden gem, and we would 100% stay here again. It’s clear that Lella has created something really special here, and we’re so glad we got to experience it. Highly recommend!

AustraliaLella puts her heart into this place, and it shows. She really cares about creating a beautiful, comfortable environment. The design of everything has been carefully created by Lella, and the result is a place that is relaxing and welcoming. My room was very clean - the whole place was. The location is very peaceful - when you stay at Sampai Jumpa, you are unlikely to be woken up by the mosque’s 4:30am call to prayer - this is rare on Gili Air. You also won’t be kept up by bars playing music. Having said that, location is close to the north-west facing coast, so you are only moments away from being able to see the sunset, as well as various eateries in the area and along that beach. In the room, there’s ample shelves and hangers and storage, and excellent A/C. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve had in Bali, Lombok & Gili Air. This is a beautiful place, and Lella is a fantastic host. She organised all sorts of things for me, including laundry and a snorkelling tour.

AustriaSmall things like the curtain which is quite bright (I know there are sleeping masks provided but I don’t like the feeling of them) also there are not so many possibilities to hang up wet things. Some clothes rack by the pool area but it was occupied very often. But still nothing major compared to other stays in Indonesia !
The woman who runs the place is so lovely and is really trying to make your stay the best possible. The location is nice and the facilities are taken well care of. There is even a mosquito net in the bathroom at the open window which we really liked.

FranceNot only is this hotel beautiful, clean, and free of cockroaches (which is very rare on an island), but it also stands out for its incredibly kind and caring staff. The owner even went out of her way to bring me my charger, which I had forgotten in the room, all the way to the port as I was about to board the boat. Everything here is perfect: impeccable cleanliness, attentive and thoughtful staff. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend it for an extra night. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable experience. Thank you for everything!
