Where do I start?! The property is green, gorgeous and lush. You are welcomed and made to feel relaxed right away. The room was incredible, so private and peaceful. The food at the restaurant was incredible too, breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff are super lovely and helpful. Also I highly recommend visiting the spa for a massage whilst listening to the river below. Really hope to visit Sanna again soon, it’s a very special place.

Sanna Ubud completely stole our hearts. We have stayed in beautiful places around the world, but nothing compares. The incredible team – Ari, Melati, Jakka, Yupik, Leyonk, and Diah – made our stay unforgettable with their warmth, care, and flawless service. The property is pure magic, perfectly nestled in nature with stunning design and serene energy. Everything was spotless. The butler service anticipated our every need, the food was fresh and full of bold Balinese flavors, and the spa was the best we have ever experienced. Sanna is not just a resort, it is a sanctuary. We left feeling renewed, grateful, and certain we will be back.

The best stay at a BEAUTIFUL hotel! This was our favourite hotel on our recent honeymoon in Bali. We loved how secluded and private the whole place is, especially our villa. We booked a butler villa and it was the best choice as the butlers are so accommodating, caring to our every need making the experience even more relaxed and easy. The people were so friendly and accommodating. Our luggage was delayed by the airline and the Sanna staff put in so much effort to help us retrieve these, constantly calling Bali airport and really helped us to get our luggage back which we were so very grateful for. The food was lovely, a great variety and the cocktails were a firm favourite! The spa is next level, the building is extraordinary and being surrounded by nature, hearing the waterfall below and having a massage in the open jungle was a once in a lifetime experience! 😊

literally the only "complaint" I have was the the pools are chilly and it was kind of cloudy while we we're there so we didn't get in our pool unfortunately. But it was still nice to look at lol

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and so well done. The rooms blend indoor and outdoor living seamlessly. the staff was so friendly and the spa was so unique in it's architecture. I was so impressed by this hotel. The pool is also very beautiful. Everything about the hotel was beautiful.

My wife and I stayed at Sanna Ubud for a week to celebrate our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have asked for a more magical experience. From start to finish, everything was smooth, relaxing, and incredibly well taken care of. Before we even arrived, the resort helped us organize a ride and a driver, which made getting there so easy and stress-free. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff and welcomed with a refreshing drink. The check-in process was simple and quick, which we really appreciated after the journey. We were immediately impressed by how beautifully maintained the resort is. The landscaping is absolutely stunning – lush greenery everywhere, perfectly trimmed, and everything was spotlessly clean. Big compliments to the maintenance team – they’re clearly doing an outstanding job! One unique and fun part of the experience was the inclinator that takes you down into the valley. It’s such a cool feature and made it really easy to move around the property without having to walk up and down hills. It was one of those thoughtful touches that made the stay even more comfortable. Our villa was spacious, spotless, and very private, with breathtaking views of the jungle all around. We felt completely immersed in nature, yet had all the comforts of luxury. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle was pure bliss. The infinity pool was a highlight – we spent hours there soaking in the peace and enjoying the view. On our first morning, we had breakfast served by the pool, which was just perfect. The Varana Restaurant staff were exceptional – warm, polite, and very well trained. They made every meal feel special. My wife follows a gluten-free diet, and the team went out of their way to make sure her needs were met with ease and care. Every staff member knew our names, which added a really personal touch and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay.

The only downside was the pool temperature — the water in both the shared and private pools was a bit too cold, so we didn’t use them as much as we would have liked. However, when we mentioned this to the manager, he let us know that they are planning to install heaters soon, which will definitely make a big difference.

Our experience was amazing! We stayed for five nights and had a beautiful, relaxing time. The service was outstanding — the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They greeted us with “welcome home” every time we returned and even took the time to learn our names, which made the stay feel very personal and warm. It truly felt like being at home, just with excellent service. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous. The villas are stunning, the facilities are well-maintained, and the restaurant served delicious food every day. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and welcoming getaway.

The pool comes to the doors of the room, and there is no outside space other than this and the outdoor bath. Obviously it's difficult on the side of a hill, but some outside space would have been really lovely. The cost of the hotel is very high for Bali, and at this price you might be expecting 5 star service. Every member of staff was absolutely lovely to us but don't expect your name to be known, needs anticipated or problems solved without asking. I understand the need to monetise shared space, but the spa area at the bottom of the valley was incredible and seemed under-used.

The hotel is set on the side of a valley, so each room down the valley is reached via a lift that's more of a funicular. The rooms are wide and open to the valley with a plunge pool in front. This is really beautiful, as is the design of, and planting around, the hotel. The room seemed new and was beautiful. The staff are really friendly and nice. The butler (which is actually just a WhatsApp group) was always helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent – the rooms were clean and comfortable, the atmosphere relaxing, and the service truly outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. The food was also a highlight: fresh, beautifully presented, and very delicious. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Everything was as I imagined, private pool was amazing, even though it was raining the water was not Cold, breakfast was amazing. Staff was so nice and so polite. I would have loved if there was a gym or fitness centre in the property to allow guests to workout during their stay.

The hotel is a small oasis in the middle of the jungle. The rooms, restaurant and spa are amazing and the staff is super accommodating of everything. Food at the restaurant is great and I loved that they did a tea time for you every day - we felt so pampered.

A perfect stay in paradise Our experience at Sañña Ubud was amazing. The hotel is located in a stunning setting, surrounded by nature and complete tranquility. The rooms are beautiful and come with a private pool, as do the rest of the well-maintained facilities. The breakfast and food at the restaurant were absolutely delicious, and the staff was always attentive to any food allergies, which we really appreciated. What we loved the most was the hospitality of the staff — they truly made us feel at home. Everyone was kind, helpful, and very thoughtful. A special thanks to Nadia, Jaka, Sakun, Yupik, Wawan and Warsa, as well as the restaurant, reception and massage team, for taking such good care of us. Managers should be proud of such a professional team they have. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special stay in Bali.

The spa offers good service, but the massage prices are significantly higher than in town

The hotel is beautifully located, with the bungalows offering stunning views of the jungle. The entire property is well-maintained, with a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. For those who are afraid of small lizards (emphasis on small!), it's worth noting that a few geckos may be seen walking along the ceiling inside the bungalow. However, they don’t come near people and are completely harmless. During our stay, we had 2 or 3 tiny gecko “roommates” — more of a charming detail than a problem. Apart from this pleasant little touch of nature, there were absolutely no other animals or insects in the room. If you appreciate being close to nature, enjoy breathtaking views, and value high standards of service and accommodation — this hotel is a perfect choice.

nothing, everything was wonderful

We were at this resort for our honeymoon. We were supposed to be there for four days, but we canceled the next hotel so we could stay for six. This resort is literally paradise. The villas are beautiful and very comfortable. A very important point is that they have small cages in case any unexpected animals sneak in. However, they don't kill them; they stay trapped in the cages and are released outside the resort. I'd also like to highlight the restaurant. All the food is delicious and perfectly tailored to your tastes and needs. I'm vegetarian, and they made everything I asked for, and there were several options on the menu. Finally, what we liked most about it was the friendliness of the entire staff. They were always very kind, helping you with everything, and had a big smile on their faces. It's a pleasure to be in an environment like this and with such nice, good people. In short, it's a magical place that everyone should visit at least once in their life.
