Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. The parfum in common areas is too strong, close to suffocating. The breakfast buffet is huge, yoghurt and cereal is missing, would be a welcome extra. Also the loud local music played at breakfast could be a bit more subtle.

Employees were really kind and helpful in many different ways. They even packed our breakfast for us, because we went to Mount Bromo and we missed the whole breakfast time.

Unfortunately the pool was closed and we were not notified about that in advance. Also the restaurant closed earlier when we arrived. And there were some communication issues at the reception.

The gym and pool facility need an upgrade for a hotel of this size. Maybe the parking capacity also.

Photos of the rooms are clearly very old and do not represent the current condition of the bedrooms. The cleanliness of the shower for instance is just passable, glass all scaled, dirt around hinges mold in corners etc. A fresh coat of paint in the bedrooms and a deep clean of the bathroom would have left us with a very different impression of the place.
Good location close to Gubeng train station, staff were friendly and they dropped us to the train station the next day for free. Pool was also nice and actually bigger than it looks in photos. Breakfast also very good, and bed was clean and very comfortable.

Nothing specific, if anything at all, maybe the pool is a bit small, but other than that, a really good hotel.
Very well equipped and centrally located hotel in Surabaya. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to cater for our specific requirements. We very much appreciated the option of getting an early packed breakfast when we had to check out before regular breakfast opening times.

The friendliness of the staff was very much appreciated. We stopped here on our way to Malang. The room was spacious clean and answered all our needs. Breakfast was a super experience too. We took advantage of the 241 offer in the bar too

The property is located at the hub of Surabaya and is easily accessible. The staff members including the Receptionists, restaurant staff and concierge were amazingly good and supportive. They are very well mannered and behaved. 10/10 for the hospitality.

- The room amenities are somewhat worn out. - Some staff don’t speak English. - If you need to use express laundry service, be careful. I tried to use express laundry which says ready in 5 hours, but eventually i get the laundry next day. And I had to call them several times to ask where my laundry is, although I told them many times my train departs at early morning.
