From the moment I arrived at Selvática, I felt completely at peace. The place is an oasis of calm and beauty, with the soft sound of nature, beautifully designed spaces, and warm, welcoming staff. Nothing everything was most than perfect

We felt very safe and welcomed from the moment we arrived. The team is incredibly respectful and warm. You can tell they truly care about their guests and their hotel. The room was clean, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Best breakfast we have in all our trip. Would absolutely come back again.

- The room had a moldy or damp smell despite the staff spraying with air fresheners and keeping the ac on. - We sent the laundry and it was was on the pricier side of 40k per kg whereas other places on the island have it as low as 15k. however it was also our mistake because we did not ask in advance for the price. - the main breakfast items could be a bit improved

The garden is very peaceful and pretty, the cleaning is done everyday, the mosquito net is in very good shape, the ac works well, they provide mosquito repellent, the bed is comfortable, the staff is nice

Breakfast was a little limited and the coffee was the worst we have had in all of Indonesia - recommend going to nearby Pachamama for better coffee. There are also a few bugs in the room - this is massively helped by the double room sweep the staff do and turn down service at night and the net, we appreciated that, but worth noting.

A lovely quiet spot which feels like you are really in nature, there is no noise at night and yet you are only a short walk/ cycle from the turtle snorkelling area of the beach and restaurants. The staff are super accomodating - we ate at all their restaurant recommendations which were fab. Bike and snorkel hire direct from them was very helpful.

Bungalows are very small and they lack your typical amenities like kettle and mini-fridge. Breakfast is served at 8, which is quite late for early risers or if you have activities booked or ferries to catch.

Staff is what makes your stay at Selvatica special. Ejal, Gita and the other guys were very attentive, kind and fun. They accommodated our requests and were always helpful.

Staying in Selvatica was a wonderful experience. So many details of this boutique little settlement with cute comfortable stylish cabins are so special - from the nicest welcome drink and cold towels to freshen up, to the branded wooden straws, little candles, seductive lighting of your private cabin, cute presents for the guests - so many ways to feel very welcome! On top of that, the ever so kind and dilligent personell makes this stay unforgettable! We would like to express our gratitude especially to our head of the reception, Ijal, who was always willing to go an extra mile for his guests with a warm smile on his face - thank you!! A minor thing is just to cut a little bit some of the trees that are on the way, but the rest all perfect.

You feel like in the jungle around so many trees and nature. You have the beach 5-8 minutes walking, I recommend to rent a scooter, it was so much fun to go around the island with that one. Service was amazing! They respond very quick all my WhatsApp messages. I had an issue with the speed boat as was cancelled the day of arrival due to weather and they stayed in touch until we arrived, they were very kind helping us to find a way around to get to the island from Padang bai, thank you. Breakfast was great, they guys do a good job.

The hotel was so peaceful, clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Gita was so kind with providing us all his recommendations and could not do enough for us. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the pancakes were the best we have ever had!! The location is perfect and you are able to rent bikes from the hotel. A definite must if you are staying in Gili Air!! We already cannot wait to go back one day.

Selvática is one of those places that you don’t want to leave. The cottages are very well designed and come with everything you may need during your stay. The lush greenery makes you feel relaxed from the very first moment. The garden is beautiful and the swimming pool is impeccably clean. Breakfast served on the cottage terrace is delicious. But what makes this place really stand out is the staff, always cheerful, welcoming and helpful. I loved every second of my stay in Selvática.

Absolutely loved my stay! It’s the little thoughtful touches that made all the difference – from the lemongrass insect repellent, to the sleep kit and mood lighting for a peaceful night. They even provided a custom Google Maps with saved places and recommendations. Every detail showed real care. Highly recommend!
