The bathroom is missing a fan. The rooms are indeed old but I believe that the price is on point.

- The room really needs updating for the price point - The food at the restaurant is poor (the price is absolutely ridiculous ($35 AUD) for the tiniest piece of steak and a handful of chips, is not good enough - really disappointed

The hotel/bar wine list is terrible. Dreadful, overpriced "Bali" wine. A few imported wines, all overpriced and mainly not in stock. Happily there is a M Mart nearby, and Fresh supermarket, who have much better imported wine options at reasonable prices. As do other nearby 1st class hotel restaurants and even local beachfront restaurants.

We were on half board and the stay and dine menu was the same for our five nights in each restaurant which was a shame as more variety would be better. Perhaps same menu for each night of the week would mix it up? The service on the Sunday was very slow too and seemed under staffed.

Beautiful breakfast with helpful staff. The pianist at breakfast was fabulous! Very comfortable rooms and great pool. The turtle hatchery and feeding was great!

Walking around the area is terrifying because of how fast and reckless people drive. You take your life into your hands every time you try to cross the street. Hotel could probably advocate for some kind of traffic-calming in the area; painted pedestrian crossings are just ignored by all motorists.

I knew from the reviews that it's gonna be the old hotel but at least A/C should be regularly cleaned for a sake of your visitors! We were not able to use A/C - the smell of mold coming from there was unbearable. It was irritating my throat. It's not acceptable for any hotel, e specially for a 5 stars!

Room facilities weren't 5 star - rooms outdated, & no bathroom accessories provided other than toothbrush. (Note: rooms were completely fine, just not 5 star.) Breakfast wasn't also 5 star in our opinion (decent variety but not 5 star quality).

The hotel could need a refurbishment, but it has its charme that way. Senggigi itself is a bit abandoned, which can be depressing.

The personel is really amazing, they are extremely helpful in every situation, even in critical ones. The beach and the pool are great and also the food is nice.

The property is old and shows some signs of wear and tear. Bathrooms can be better, and so can be the water pressure in the shower.

The only thing for me was the noise of the road that we could hear in the rooms at night.

We loved staying in this hotel, we had an ocean view room, the rooms were very clean and really well maintained. The pool was lovely, sun beds were very comfortable, with pool towels easily available. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Also have to say the breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip, lots of variety, and lots of food cooked to order, with the piano playing making it a nice atmosphere ! The hotel has access straight onto the beach, and just a short walk along the beach to some nice restaurants. We were here early June, and it was very quiet, not many tourists around, I expect some of the bars and restaurants struggle to survive as it is so quiet.
