The hosts are the most amazing people I’ve seen in a hostel! Everything is clean, the breakfast is AMAZING! The available tours are really good as well. Best place to stay in Yogya!

We usually never go to hostels because they seems a bit neglected, but for this one we made an exception thanks to the good reviews. I'm really glad to have chosen snooze because the kindness of the girls inside is very unique, they helped us to manage our trips even before joining Indonesia, making our programmation a lot easier! Regarding the absence of hot water it's really not a problem because the water it's not too cold. One last but not least mention to the driver that guided us through Borobudur and Prambanan temples and also in our trip to Malang, Imam! He's the best driver we ever had in our whole life!! Super professional we always felt safe on the Indonesian streets (whoever has been to Indonesia knows that safety is really low for the drivers). He always laughed helping us to do the trip with great mood and helped us to understand how things works, he even made a stop not planned based on our special request to try Luwak coffee! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, even though we had to check in after the usual check in time. The room and the shared facilities were spotless. I loved the plants and decoration (see coconut monkey). The bed was comfortable, The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was so good we even ordered more after breakfast. We only stayed for one night but I honestly wish we stayed here longer!

It would be good to have some hot water for showers but when the weather is hot it’s not so much of a problem.

The place does not describe itself as a hostel, but it actually seems working as an hostel. Nonetheless the experience has been great, need to consider that room and bathroom are dislocated one to the other.

Super appreciated experience. The girls have been amazingly available for suggestions on our trip and chatting about the experienced day. Breakfast was great and we were offered many iced teas! The atmosphere of the location is very enjoyable and probably is improved by the people working in.

There is only one dormitory - as a solo traveller, this can limit the amount of people you meet.

The staff are very supportive and always available. Tours are bookable through the hostel and they will support you in getting the correct ticket for Borobudur. The breakfast is excellent with an option of sweet or savoury. Good location.

Hot shower would be nice but not a big drama since the weather is warm.

Everything was absolutely amazing. Specially the staff extremely friendly, always there to have a chat and help. Superb hostel in the middle of the city but so quiet and peaceful with a lot of plants and greens. Amazing breakfast.

The staff were incredible! They were so friendly and helpful! Also the hostel cat is the cutest!! My friend and I really appreciated the packed breakfast. We had early starts all throughout our stay and missed the free breakfast. Having packed breakfast was ideal to bring with us! The dorm was really nice, and the hostel itself was so cool! With little nooks and crannies that people can relax in surrounded by greenery!

Maybe consider changing the pillows because they're so hard. The prices for budget room with AC but no windows & cold showers is a little high but the breakfast makes it worth it.

We loved the wonderful people at Snooze who were so caring, helpful and friendly, the gorgeous breakfasts, clean roomsand green plants everywhere!

That some doors al very low. I bumbed my head twice. there was only one sink at the 2 showers and there was a hook missing for your toiletry bag or towel. Meeting solo travelers was not always easy beacuse there is only one bunkbed room.

Nice communial areas to sit and have breakfast or chill. Also good room with all nessecaties. The breakfast was amazing and you always had options or take out a breakfast box, laundry service is also available and fast. Everytime you came in the ladys at the reception welcomed you and offered you a free drink which was very refreshing. There was good information on things to do and loved the transportation service to the tempels that they offered. Always good advice on where to eat. Check out foreignerstreet! and they really care about you having a good stay. Felt like home!

N/A. Some people may miss hot showers but for us room temp/cool showers were perfect after the yogya heat!

A beautiful cosy setting to explore yogya from- walking distance to the centre. Our room was very comfy and the breakfasts were delicious. Beautiful gardens to sit and enjoy breakfast/a drink in too. One highlight is the staff- all so friendly and helpful with lots of information to share!

Nothing, out entire experience was amazing!

Location was central and felt very safe. Great local restaurants near by. We really recommend ‘Bolo Soto’ which is just around the corner. The staff were so lovely, they helped out with any questions we had. Another plus is that the fascilities are very clean. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

Wifi connection is weak in general, especially in the rooms and bathrooms. You need to be in the common area to have better signal.

Snooze is such a great hostel, with fantastic facilities, very cleaned shared bathrooms, aesthetically pleasing rooms, calming outdoor sitting areas. Great location in city central area, walking distance to the busy streets. The breakfasts provided are amazing, they’d even prepare you a breakfast takeaway box if you need to leave early. All the guests that stayed there are all respectful and quiet, but everyone’s up for a chat if you’re keen. Remember to chat more with the hostel staff, most of them are young local females that are passionate in learning and practising English. They genuinely care about your day and your trip:)

There were some snags on the trip to Ijen, these things happen but I would have preferred hotel staff to communicate clearly on the plan. But overall it was a good stay and its a minor snag in what was a great experience overall.

Very good place to stay, beds were clean and the whole place was very well maintained from bathrooms, living areas and kitchen. Staff was very hospitable and kind, they were very helpful. I did a couple of tours from there which proved to be quite good as well. For Jomblang cave and trip to Mt.Bromo.(discovered thanks to posters at their hostel :))

Wonderful hostel and would definitely recommend it to others. The staff were so friendly and welcoming! It was lovely to be offered iced drinks every time I turned up to the hostel. I stayed at Snooze on two separate occasions, the private room and dorm were both great. The deco had a really calm vibe and it was the perfect place to come back to after a day exploring the city. The hostel was in a really good location in the city and had plenty of restaurant options nearby. Would definitely stay again!

Just all the best! While many places appear more appealing on the photos than in reality, Snooze is just as shown here! Lovely fascilities, warm and friendly staff. They go the extra mile! And they make you feel at home. <3 The location is practical for town exploration on foot. There is a Ramayana balet show just 12min away! And I can say the coffee prepared from the snooze bar is ✨

The staff here are so helpful, kind and proactive. It was also amazing to get a lovely cooked breakfast and fruit bowl every morning - for 10,000 extra they will even make you a packed breakfast. Laundry was quick and fairly priced. Our private room was nice and clean and the aircon was dreamy.

Such a beautiful place to get a bit quietness from the loud and busy city centre. The breakfast was amazing and the whole staff was so kind, welcoming, helpful and attentive. We had so many questions and everyone of them was answered.
