The room we had (right at the end of the lobby) is not that easy to darken. Unfortunately, it remains relatively bright during the night because the lobby is in front of the large glass wall from the room.

The highlight was the extremely friendly staff, who gave us a very warm welcome. We also really liked the many different common areas. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, but would definitely stay longer next time.

There could be breakfast even though you can use the kitchen and there is always coffee, tea and water!

Everything was perfect, super clean, very helpful and kind staff, they helped with everything, made me feel very comfortable, gave me good tips, organized a trip to tumpac sewu, did laundry. The shared dorm is very quiet, the lockers are big and it looks like you have your own little room as you can even stand! The bathroom always clean. The best hostel I have ever been to.

This is probably the best hostel I stayed at in my life. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming, the facilities are beautiful and large, and most importantly, the beds are exceptional. Every bed is in their private walk-in box in which you can stand, plus you have space on the side of the bed to walk, you have a mirror and hangers in the box, light, powerplug, and it is decorated lovely. The bed is super comfortable. The hostel is also very quiet and people are respectful of quiet hours.

The staff were some of the kindest people I've ever interacted with. The pods had beds with bedframes (instead of just a mattress on the floor). The pods also were tall enough to stand up in (as a fairly tall man) and had plenty of space. Excellent experience highly recommend.

It’s such a great place and the staff is very friendly. Everything is clean and the rooms offer enough space and privacy to every traveler. It is kind of a capsule concept with a real bed and not only a mattress. Furthermore, the tours are amazing and have a very reasonable price!

A real gem in Malang. The hostel is in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance to the shopping street. There is plenty of space to hang out and chill and the room was spacious.

The accommodation was great! The room and bathrooms were very clean. Everyone at the reception was very kind, and we even got iced tea as a welcome drink. When I communicated with the hostel beforehand, they recommended companies that arrange transport from the airport to Malang, and I’m very thankful for that.

Everything was perfect, that’s one of the best hostel of my 3 months trip. Comfortable bed, incredible staff, nice place, a lot of quiet place to rest, cleaned several times a day, a fully equipped kitchen, free coffee and tea, a fridge available, free water.

One of the best hostels I stayed in Indonesia. Their staff is so adorable!!! They almost treat you like a part of the family :) The hostel is really quiet because everyone gets up early for tours. Super clean as well. Recommended to book tours to Mt. Bromo, Ijen or the waterfalls directly with them, as they were super organized and social as well. Makasih to Anne, Heras and all the other staff for making my stay at Snooze Malang so enjoyable 😍

The people who work here need to get a raise because they did really well on treating their guest, really superstar. Love their architecture, we stay in economy room with the fan and shared bathroom and we were not expected that the room was not hot at all, and the shared bathroom was sparkling clean. I dont know how they do that but they did really well on keeping their place clean and tidy. There is a full set kitchen that we can use, a communal area where we can have a chat with other traveller. This hostel is very close to kayu tangan area, stasiun malang, and also a lot of cool cafe nearby, its a plus for this one. The receptionist always recommend something for you every day so dont worry if you dont have any plan or dont know what to do in malang. We love this hostel, and for sure we will be back.

the hostel is near the train station, it's always clean and the staff is amazing. The single room with AC is quite big and you have everything you need. good hostel for a short stay in Malang
