The staff are the stars of the place. Everyone was great but we particularly bonded with Intan. Our comfort was their highest priority but not in an overpowering manner. We completely switched off and relaxed. Glad we didn’t have many activities planned outside of the resort because we didn’t want to be away from it.

Fumigating the garden in the late afternoon and having to breath the poisonous fumes. It is also not good for the environment. There are better ways to control mosquitoes by planting the right plants.

Yogi at reception gave us a lovely welcome and explanation about the place and also looked after us later on. For someone who had only been working there for a couple of weeks he showed great confidence and skill in his job. The hotel was everything you expect from a luxury place.

A few superficial teething problems , as with all new hotels but the staff were amazing

Ok so the hotel has only been open 1 month, it has a few things to finish but it didn’t cause any issues and the lazy river was awesome, clean and quiet, as was the main pool. The staff were friendly and professional and couldn’t do enough to help

Pool and grounds were fabulous - we loved lazing by the pool and in the lazy river with our baby! We ate at the restaurant for breakfast each morning and the staff were attentive and accomodating and the food was delicious. The room was spacious and had a great view and was serviced beautifully each day.

The only weird thing was the lights set up, we could never figure out how to have the toilet lights without turning on the room ones hahahaha but that was not a problem just weird.

The room was great, very comfortable and big bed. The staff is the best thing of the hotel! They are all very nice, one staff even went and got our forgotten passports from a store in his bike. They also provided a portable sterilizer for my baby’s bottles. Manager please pamper your staff.

We had a fantastic stay at Sumitra Resort. The rooms were absolutely beautiful—spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully designed with a luxurious fewel.The beds were incredibly comfortable (like a cloud) making it easy to relax and unwind. The service and hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, adding thoughtful touches throughout our stay that made it even more special. The swimming pool and lazy river were highlights—perfect for relaxing and having fun. We also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food and drinks at Flow Restaurant. Highly recommend Sumitra Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable getaway. Thank you for a wonderful experience—we're already looking forward to coming back! 😊

Beautiful new hotel. The rooms were stunning, bed super comfy. The beachfront pool was the perfect place to spend the day. Staff were all very professional and friendly. At the quieter beach end of Sanur which I loved but still a short walk to everything. I will definitely be back.

We fully recommend stay in Sumitra. We spend there only two nights and it was excellent experience. From the beginning - warmest possible welcome on the reception desk, then only better and better - Mira and Oke - always ready to help, all stuff from the reception desk, Alvi, Puteri, Eka - all more than friendly and just waiting to fullfill your every wish. Barbecue in the villa - excellent! SPA treatment - perfect! Restaurant was also very good with delicious breakfast. And Villa Itself - just beyond all expextations. We highly recommend SUMITRA - that was our last two night in Bali, perfect end!!! Really hope we will have possibility to return to SUMITRA.
