NetherlandsI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sunny Rose. I was delighted by the property's appearance upon arrival. It was cheerful, warm, and inviting. I immediately felt completely at home in the cottage. A beautiful tropical courtyard garden surrounds all the cottages. Everything has been thought of. There are waterproof beanbags in the lush swimming pool, There was a bamboo shower, covered lounge beds, and comfortable sun loungers by the water's edge. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and cheerful. Breakfast offers something for everyone with plenty of delicious options. The cottage is cozy and clean, and the bed has a comfortable mattress—which is important! I slept like a Rose:) Marcel and Elise are easily accessible through the app and provide personal, warm attention. Nice! Thick bath towels are provided. A real bonus is the water tank in the cottage that provides unlimited pure spring water. Upon arrival, you will receive a brochure detailing what you can find on the island. What a warm welcome! I really don’t understand why people give this resort not a big 10. Thank you, Marcel and Elise and all the staff!

Lovely setting around the corner from the beach with relaxing pool area with bean bags! Restaurant area is fun & colourful. Water in the room to tap from. What really stood out were the kind and helpful owners and staff!

This is an excellent hotel in a fantastic location on Gili Air. We received a warm welcome when we arrived from staff and the owners. We were given lots of useful information about the island for during our stay. Bicycle rental was included as part of the price for the room, which was a fantastic extra. Would have loved to have stayed longer here and on Gili Air.

Danny greeted us when we arrived, he was full of information and warmth. We met the owners later on and they were equally nice and helpful. They try to make an effort to meet everyone staying there and provide any help as needed.

Absolutely loved my stay at Sunny Rose. The location is fantastic, 30 seconds walk to the beach but I liked it was set back a tiny bit from main road so nice and peaceful. The rooms and decor throughout the hotel are beautiful, the pool is stunning and breakfast great - lots of options. Most importantly the team working there are just outstanding, couldn’t do enough to ensure I felt welcome and knew all I needed to know about the hotel and Gili Air. The rooms had everything you needed including continuous fresh water, air con and toiletries. The owner of the hotel made an effort to welcome every guest individually and have a chat. My favourite hotel throughout all my solo travelling!

We stayed 4 nights here and it felt like paradise. The location is amazing and perfect for early snorkling to see the turtles. The staff were so welcoming and gave us great recommendations for dinner and activities on the island. The coffee was great! We booked our activities and travel with Banana Travel right next door and it was easy and great service, highly recommend!

Truly an exceptional place. The hosts, staff, area and room was amazing. The included breakfast was truly worth every penny, as we had so many different options, and every option was delicious. The room was clean and neat, and the pool area was very relaxing.

It’s in a fantastic location and at the same time offers incredible peace and quiet for total relaxation. The staff fulfill every wish; they are friendly and always professional no matter the situation. Everything is newly renovated and designed with great attention to detail. The food is excellent. The owners have poured their hearts into this place and aim for absolute top-notch (western Europe standard) service while keeping the authentic Indonesian vibe. 10 points are not enough – don’t hesitate to book, you will be more than satisfied!
