Everything. Great food, lovely host, beach dogs, fresh local fruits and vegetables and fish. Amazing to watch the sea change every day. You can also check out the local village from here, not as a tour, just to go get supplies and pick up internet from their tower. I’d recommend this place combined with Kadidiri Paradise, a few days in each, to get the full perspective of the islands.

This is really as close as you can get nowadays to living with nature, Robinson Crusoe style, so expect bugs and beasts. Not a problem for me but not everyone’s kind of place if you need modern comforts.

    The staff was friendly.

We do not mind basic conditions but this is just to expensive for the poor quality which you receive. There is only saltwater to shower with and the huts are in a poor condition. We booked for three nights but left after one.

Absolutely fell in love with this place. Only stayed one night and snorkeled a lot on the housereef which was perfect. Not much to do, just be in your own little private island paradise. Very easy to be in contact with, the son took care of all our questions beforehand how to get there etc. Got a very warm welcome at the port, got greeted by 9 lovely dogs at the beach arriving. Bats everywhere at night, very cool to see. Do not expect luxury since you stay in a beach bungalow anyway, yet we got electricity from a battery which is a funny sight but very useful. Hammocks are great for an afternoon nap. The cat is also good company. One of my best stays ever.

I am a picky eater and was struggling with the fresh fish on your plate for dinner, my boyfriend loved it though the island experience. Pancakes on the other hand were delicious!

The place is a paradise of tranquillity and beauty, you can hear only the waves and some animal (nothing frightening indeed!) Irina and the staff are kind and helpful in both enjoyng Togean islands best spots and organizing the arrival and the departure. The food served is simple yet delicious (and believe me, no rats in the cottages, as in some rewiews is written, only maybe some pagurian!). On top of all, just sit on the beach and wait for sunset!

The location is unique - just between the sea and the jungle. Irina the owner is very nice and proposes a lot of different activities. Great place to fully disconnect - no network at all!

Very basic and pretty rustic. May need some renovation but do not forget that this is the jungle.

It was nice to be able to go snorkelling directly from the beach and to rest in the hamacs. The proximity with Wakai was a big plus considering we were staying only two days. We had a nice view of the sunset and it was really peaceful.

Spiders, bats, rats and other sympathies are able to come inside the houses because the walls are not touching the roof. The color of the water for the shower is also uncomfortable.

Location amazing, right on beach with jungle behind. Owner very pleasant, she tries hard.

Unfortunately the property needs attention. Hopefully the owner with give it some much needed care.

The accommodation is beautifully located and the beach deserves it's name - stunning sunsets there! The staff is very friendly and helps a lot with the transportation to get there. You can snorkel right in front of the beach or book one of the tours to go to close tourist attractions. Food is fully provided and very delicious.

There are many animals living inside or around the rooms, mainly night active ones like crabs and geckos. I personally had a hard time sleeping because of all the noise caused by the animals. Without them, it would have been the perfect getaway!

Irina, the owner of the homestay is really helpful and kind for all your needs. The private beach is amazing, with bungalow views directly on it. Surrounded by palm trees, this place is a little slice of heaven in Togean Islands.

Accomodation is standard. No fans or AC but you have the essential needed. The meals are really good even though it's pretty much the same every time with nice fish.

Beautiful setting on the beach and great sunsets. I think our bungalow was a bit newer than others, so it was comfortable. This place has no WiFi, no signal, no running water and no electricity, but it is great to go back to basics for a few nights! Irina does provide batteries so you can recharge small devices and have some light in the evening. The food is good and always plenty of it! Irina arranged trips for us to go and see the area with her boat, which were great! Lovely hammocks for each bungalow as well, perfect for a siesta!

Whilst it is great to live simply, the lack of a fan at night was hard sometimes with the heat!

Lovely, quiet, cosy location with beautiful views. The place has simple facilities which match the location, going really well with the vibe of a relaxing low key island getaway. The host is very kind and helps organise to see amazing sites and the jellyfish lake which is close by. Lovely food prepared also! After our ferry was broken and we were delayed by a day we were very kindly accommodated with an adjusted reservation. Pickup and drop off from Wakai is also very appreciated! All in all we had a lovely stay :)

Sometimes the dogs were fighting amongst themselves a bit which some people may find uncomfortable, but they were very friendly to the guests so no worries about that.

The owner Irina is super friendly and very helpful. The islands and the water is very beautiful. Nice spots for snorkeling. Very nice sunsets and very good for social media detox :) The owner has a boat and takes you wherever you want to. The village nearby is super friendly.

To be honest, the facilities were very disappointing. Our room was all in all very dirty. The sheets on the beds were full with dead flies and insects. The "bathroom" is also very dirty. The toilet, the garbage can and also the two buckets (one for flushing the toilet, one for showering) were also full with dead ants and flies. When we opened the bucket shower, the water was covered with dead insects. The mosquito nets had holes in it. Also, the owner has approx. 8-10 dogs that quarrel and come into your room, sometimes also at night. Two cats have run across the roof at night and made a lot of noise. During lunch time, the owner feeds the dogs which then quarrel and cause a lot of commotion. The information about wifi is not accurate. In order to get a signal, you need to walk to the next village during low tide. The signal is very weak.

Irina and her staff Naoe are lovely! They did everything to let us feel comfortable and home. We loved eating together and listen to the stories from Irina. She has such a great sense of humor. Even she had a bunch of advices for extending VISA and payments etc. So helpful ( we could extend our VISA in 2 hours at Luwuk!!!!). Naoe is a really good cook and made with simple ingredients delicious meals. At sunset beach you can feel like on a lonely islands because it is just like that! We had to climb a small route to another beach to get connection and even that was not good at all. But it was so nice to escape from everything. We relaxed lying in the hammock and read books, watching the beautiful sunset sitting at the beach. For entertainment Irina offered some trips with her own boat so we could go to the jellyfish lake and carina beach etc. When we needed our camera to charge Naoe took it overnight to her home and brought it back the next morning. For electricity in the room and small charging like cellphone we had a battery on a table. For washing the clothes Irina brought us to a spring at a beach around the corner by boat. A lot of locals came there as well for washing clothes and also having a shower. That was a crazy experience.

The accommodation was not that clean. But we think it is because they don’t see it and aren’t that attentive to hygienic. Because it is the real Dschungel we had mices at night. We heard them sneaking around and in the morning we saw the damage: flip-flop little bit eaten, earring half eaten. After that night we gave our food ( that was in the backpack) to Irina in the kitchen because there were 3 cats. The next nights we had no damage anymore.
