I have no particular reason that makes me dissatisfied.

Both the interior and the exterior of the place are superb. My kids like taking pictures in may spots there.

Lovely hosts, spacious room with a comfy bed, high ceilings keep the room cool, and good shower. The building itself is very pretty with inside and outside communal seating areas. Lots of local eateries around. You can help yourself to filter water and coffee in the shared kitchen.

The room for family is exceptionally spacious. The property looks very beautiful and classic.

- unfortunately very permeable to noise, so you can hear the sounds of vehicles and the mosque in my room (number 1) relatively loudly - Communication in English was a bit difficult, but the staff was still very, very caring - Wifi (basically good but a little weak in a few places in my room or at a few times - especially when you have a meeting, it is relatively difficult with a few interruptions)

- super nicely furnished and decorated, really beautiful - good seating areas - free drinking water to refill + tea/coffee - large room - Air conditioning top and not directly above the bed - very nice caring staff (but unfortunately does not speak English very well) - comfortable bed - clean - Wifi (basically good but a bit weak in a few places in my room or at a few times) - Room service - On my last evening I simply got a fruit plate in my room with 3 oranges and 4 salaks (snakefruits) - I've never had that before - Top location, you can walk both to the south to Kraton and to the center to Malioboro Street (25 min walk)

If I had to say one thing, it would be the lack of variety in the breakfast.

It's easy to get to the city, the environment is quiet, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff are warm and welcoming.

Loved our stay at Surokarsan 9 house! Staff were super friendly and ready to help us with getting our way about. Room was spacious and bathroom was of great size. Our room was located in a beautiful building, which was super clean and tidy. We will definately be back next time we are staying in yogyakarta

The mosque is nearby, but I think that is everywhere in Yogyakarta and something we have to deal with as tourists at 4:30 am in the morning 😅

The people are so, so nice over here! We were sick the first couple of days and they brought us fruits and singkong and they really took care of us. We stayed here for 2 weeks and at the end of the 2 weeks these people felt like family. Also the location is good, the place is clean and spacious, the airco is at the right place, you have hot showers and just everything you need. And if not, the people here wil take care of it for you! Our shower did not work properly after a couple of minutes and we immediately got an upgrade to an even bigger room for 1 week while they took care of preparing the shower. It was such a good place to stay, I recommend it to everyone!! ❤️

it will be better if the host arrange the check out time at 12pm. so that the muslim guest have time to offer shalat before they leave the house
