The location is just perfect, I never slept so close to the ocean, you’ll fall asleep with the sound of waves. The owner is also exceptional, he offered to pick me up in Ubud and also take me to Candidasa and bought a ticket to Nusa Penida for me: an angel ❤️

It would be good if water in a large bottle was available for free use by the two units to stop the accumulation of plastic bottles.

Having my own terrace right on the beach made it memorable. After staying in some pretty basic accomodation, the comfort and facilities provided, such as fridge and aircon, felt like luxury. Putu doesn’t live on site but was readily available through WhatsApp and spoke excellent English. He is wanting to make your stay a good one. The shower was hot. I didn’t have issues re mozzies but a net and powered insect dispenser was appreciated.

Nothing to not like.

It is a slice of heaven. There is nothing between you and the water except fishing boats and sand. Location is in the centre of town with numerous restaurants everywhere. Spotless accommodation, very comfortable bed and great water pressure. You have a padlock and chain which makes it feel very secure when you leave. If you hire a scooter you can park it right out front of the property.

The owner picked us up from our last accommodation, only 5 mins away, but too far with luggage and Bali heat. He was very kind. The location was right on the beach, it wasn't too private because of its location !. Very central, supermarket and restaurants very close. The room was very well appointed. Air con, fridge, kettle with tea and coffee , though no milk. Bed was comfy and bathroom was good - hot water no problem.

Great location right on the beach and easy access to great bars, Warung’s, cafes. Scooter hire around the corner. Diving and fishing close by. Good central point to access other attractions in Amed. Putu is an excellent host and offers transfers to his guests.

The room needs better lighting, there was only a lamp. I did not realise the bathroom had an open ceiling, and there were insects both in the bathroom and bedroom. Bring earplugs with you, it gets noisy! But overall it was a lovely experience and I would recommend staying here!

The location of this place is amazing - a few steps away from the beach, beautiful view from the room, loved opening the curtains in the morning and seeing the water and boats! The room was clean and spacious and I enjoyed the chairs and table on the patio. It is a local area which I really liked, various restaurants and shops in the area. I really enjoyed my stay and the place is amazing value for money!

If you are looking for a quiet place, at three steps from the Ocean, you must book here! Putu Is very welcoming and kind. Amed Is famous for snorkeling and diving and you can admire corals and tropical fishes very close to the bay! (And if you are lucky, u can see turtles 🐢) I truly recommend Tambun Sari Beach Homestay if you want to live free and barefoot 😁

It’s a little small to stay longer with little storage space, and it’s quite damp being so close by the sea. Bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise.

Putu is a wonderful host. The room couldn’t be any closer to the sea, which is quite an experience in the rainy season. You can walk anywhere to nice restaurants and shops and a dip in the sea is right at the doorstep.

Needs a tap out front to be able to wash sand off from the beach before coming onto the terrace and inside, I had sand everywhere. Paint and plaster coming away from the walls, it could do with a bit of a refresh.

Great location right on the beach! Step outside your front door and there you are. You will however get the authentic experience with barking dogs and roosters during the day, plus the motor from the winch to pull the boats in. But I wasn’t too bothered by any of that, it wasn’t constant and made me feel privileged to enjoy local life up close. I just got a chuckle out of it all. Overall the room is basic, but comfortable. It was really nice to be able to sit on the day bed out front and just relax and watch the world go by. Putu (owner) is so nice and we had some great conversations, I learnt a lot! He got in touch to see if I had transport to Amed and offered a great price to pick me up in Sidemen and take me via Tirta Gangga. He also got a friend and I back down to Sanur via Taman Ujung for a good price, considering the length of the time of the journey.

I love this room on the beach. Just you and the sea. And cute roosters that I enjoyed watching. Beach friends :) The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and Putu is very nice and ready to help with everything. I definitely recommend it.

Very clean place with just the best views

Putu was so nice and welcoming, and his homestay was just perfect, beachfront located and nice, clean and cozy. Putu has also offer to give me a transfer to his homestay from my previous location and we also planned together a tour, and he was such an amazing guide.

There are a lot of roosters in the neighbourhood that seem to wake at any hour of night; so that combined with little sound insulation in the palm frond roof meant a lot of noise and a less than great sleep. Earplugs should do the trick! The walls could also use some love as the paint is flaking in the some areas.

Beautiful view from the porch/bed and loved being able to pull our scooter right up to the cottage. We liked the lounge chair as well as table and chairs on the patio and the mini fridge with kettle, water, etc was really nice to have. Felt dreamy to be able to wake up at the beach on a budget! It was nice to have the feel of being in a local neighbourhood as opposed to hotel central while having all amenities nearby.

The are is very safe and the stay is so close everything. It is amazing to be able to wake up and then immediately step to the ocean from the house. The owner Putu is very kind and attentive. Room is clean and cozy. Bed is comfortable and the sheets are clean. AC and WIFI work well.

Great location on the beach, where you can snorkel and see a lot of fish, corals etc. Close to lots of shops, places to eat/get massage etc. Wonderful helpful owners, comfortable room with A/C and outdoor shower.

location was amazing, can drive scooter to your front door, walk to the mart and heaps of good restaurants nearby. Putu was extremely responsive and helpful.
