We loved the old Bali charm and position of the Hotel. Staff lovely and the food excellent.

My only dislike is the availability to have a decent swim. The pool is small and very public. The beach is shallow and not ideal to swim from.

The most beautiful traditional rooms and decor. Extremely peaceful hotel. We wished we were staying longer. The breakfast was amazing. If we visit Sanur in future, we’ll definitely stay again.

The Tandjung Sari is one of my all time favourite hotels in Bali. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, everything is perfect. Gorgeous Balinese style architecture and gardens. The beachfront restaurant is beautiful and the food and service is excellent. The complimentary breakfast is cooked fresh and you have a selection of pastries, fruit plate and a hot meal including juice and barista coffee. We love the location, close to everything. We felt incredibly spoilt.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

This hotel I rate as one of the most beautiful relaxing places I have ever stayed in Bali over the last 30 years! The beach view and the magnificent gardens along with our beautiful truly authentic Balinese bungalow were a joy. Can’t wait to return to this piece of paradise.

Restaurant food was a little pricey which we did expect given the hotel standard. Bed was too firm for my husband but I thought it was ok. We should have stayed longer for us 5 days were not long enough to enjoy all that was on offer.

It’s a beautiful, small hotel with gorgeous foliage. Very private villas. Loved the restaurant right on the beach. Nice to have a small gym and yoga classes available

Amazing hotel! Don’t hesitate to book it! From the first greeting till the last minute the staff was so polite, respectful, always smiling and running an extra mile to make you feel comfortable like at home. There are lots of personal touches and compliments from the management too, thank you! The facilities are great, the villas are spacious, spotlessly clean, with lots of trees and palms around. To stay at the gazebo and listen the grasshoppers in the night was so relaxing! The breakfast is fabulous with fresh juice, fruits, pastries and variety of main course. The restaurant in the evenings is remarkable with its romantic atmosphere, live Balinese music and high quality. This hotel is definitely a gem in Sanur! We will come back with pleasure! Highly recommend it to everyone!

Prices in the restaurant are a bit high compared to the others around and the service in the kitchen can be improved. In addition, some activities like yoga, offering class, cooking class, afternoon tea, etc. might add a huge value to the overall experience.

We have stayed at the hotel quite a few times and everything is still as wonderful as ever .The beautiful location , stunning gardens , warm friendly attentive staff , gorgeous breakfast , lovely rooms. Perfect for relaxing. Can’t wait to go back !!!!

This property is very beautiful. The best thing it’s traditional. The staff are absolutely amazing. Definitely will be back. Would not go anywhere else!!!!! I loved it!!!!!!

Tanjung Sari is my kind of hotel. Old world charm and fascinating history. Stunning antiquities, beautiful gardens, lovely professional staff, picture perfect views everywhere you look. I wish I’d not gone to another hotel before Tanjung Sari and just stayed there the entire time. It’s faultless really. I’ll be back with bells on.

I had a fabulous stay at Tandjung Sari. As it’s a boutique property you have the opportunity to meet the very friendly and attentive staff who look after you do well. My beachfront villa was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view from the upstairs living area. The included breakfast had lots of options and was more than I could eat. Dinner was very good too, but of course more expensive than restaurants in the main street. Highly recommended.

There is only one swimming pool which is popular with families with young children. If you don’t like sharing the pool with kids or waiting for a quieter time, this might impact your enjoyment.

Amazing location and the beach was beautiful. The setting and the hotel itself is stunning and really feels like you’re in Bali, not just another hotel which could be anywhere. The food, especially breakfast was delicious. The bungalow was nice,a bit tired in parts but comfortable. The bed is on the harder side but was perfectly comfortable. Drinking water was replenished whenever you needed it which was a nice touch.

On the whole the staff were fantastic but there were a couple of members of staff who didn’t seem to be as attentive or interested as the others which was a shame
