Kind family will welcome you in Amed. The bungalow is on the beach, in front of incredible coral and marine life, that you can appreciate renting snorkeling Gear on site. They gave us a kettle ti make our own coffee and gave us advice about live music bars around Amed. The restaurant in site has simple and tasty meals too. Try their fish!

Walking to 'downtown' Amed is hard at night, carry a Torch or a phone.

It was close to the beach. Good snorkelling. Local contacts. Relaxed. Value for money.Helpful staff.

Close to the road so traffic noise was noticed, but that’s the case with many places in Amed.

The location is directly in front of Jemeluk Bay where you can snorkel.

Place is good for the price.

The location is very convenient — right in the center of Amed beach, which makes it easy to walk to cafes and the sea. There’s a small parking area for scooters, which is really helpful. The staff were kind and responsive, let us keep the luggage for a few hours after check out to enjoy extra time on the beach

The room was very small and full of mold — in some places, it was literally falling off the walls. Bed pillows were also molded. It was extremely stuffy inside, but turning on the AC was not an option because it made such a loud cracking noise that it was impossible to sleep. The plumbing was so old (and literally made out of plastic) that I was honestly scared to sit on the toilet or wash my hands. The shower barely worked — the water pressure was too low and I couldn’t get any hot water at all. On top of that, there’s a café right in front of the rooms that plays loud music and has bright lights until midnight, which also made it hard to sleep. I stayed in one of the garden rooms — maybe the rooms facing the ocean are better, but I didn’t get to see them.

Little Cottage very close to the beach. I loved the chickens pecking around in the garden. The cottage has a nice big porch. Good value for money.

Teman Teman was a wonderful budget friendly stay for our 3 nights in Amed. It was me and my husband’s 1 year anniversary and they decorated the bed beautifully with a flower design - such a nice surprise! We felt right at home! Things we liked: - Host was really nice and answered any questions we had. - The bed and pillows were very comfortable. - You are literally on the beach and can stargaze at night or watch the sunrise in the morning from your room. - Even though the street is behind you and you sometimes hear motorcycles, the noise didn’t distrust our sleep. You can also close the toilet door behind you which helps (we are light sleepers). - Host very nice and helped us rent a motorbike a two min walk up the road on your right (Putu +62 821-4418-7527). This motorbike place also provided us with a wonderful driver to Padang Bai harbour. - You can walk to the turtle spot by the beach to your left and we saw 5 turtles in 2 days! - Restaurants to see the sunset are very close! 2 min scooter ride. - We tried the food from next door and it was amazing and they are also lovely people. So you always have an option for food nearby. - Very good location! Overall, really happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this place to family and friends as a budget option! Thank you for everything, we loved it!

Things to notice: - No hairdryer - No safe - Shower did not get hot - You can ask for hand soap and hangers

Super close the beach, good aircon, the pricing was brilliant, and they helped arrange transportation as well as tanks for diving.

Expected hot water, apparently not all rooms have. The rooms define need a deep clean, and also cosmetically not great. But stayed 3 nights and was happy.

The location of the property is fantastic. It’s situated in a quiet bay with an amazing coral reef and vibrant underwater life. The sunrise is absolutely spectacular, and the water is crystal clear, just 10 steps from your room. I was fortunate that all my neighbors were friendly and shared their adventure experiences. The staff was also very nice. There are plenty of shops and local warungs nearby offering delicious food. Plus, the Perama bus service is only a 4-minute walk away.

The food was disappointing. I was offered breakfast for 35K, which turned out to be just one egg mixed with cabbage, cooked in the same oil they used for fish the night before. I hoped the soto ayam would be better, but unfortunately, it wasn’t tasty at all. I stayed for a week, and during that time, no one emptied the bin even once or changed the bed sheets or towels. As soon as I opened the door, locals would immediately approach to offer taxi services, massages, bracelets, and local alcohol. The property allows divers to use its facilities for their activities. Every morning, you’ll encounter a group of disrespectful individuals (mostly from lower social classes in Russia) who are very loud and use inappropriate language.

The location is the highlight of the place, only 20 steps to the water. The place is reasonably clean, no musket smell. The staff are polite and helpful. Gave me a new bath mat when requested. They have a kitchen, so, you can order food if you are too lazy to leave. It is also close to freediving schools and yoga studio.

The main road is just behind. So you'll hear motorcycles crushing pass. Amed is a small village, so there aren't that many and it stopped around 8/9pm. There are boats parked out front for diving, the motor they use to pull it out of the water is very noisy, but it only happens a few times for a few minutes.

Breakfast wasn't included but there are great breakfast options in Amed so actually I think that's great. On the beach. Check in girl was super friendly and lovely.

Could only pay cash. No shampoo or soap in room. No bottle refill from a water filter.

The bed was big and comfortable with a mosquito net. You're very close to the ocean and the owner can even take you snorkeling on his boat.

It's a budget stay but the curtains were dirty and stained. The WiFi was spotty. A kettle and/or fridge would be a bonus.

We book for 2 nights, but stay one night more than planned. In front of beautifull snorkling spot, very friendly staff that helped us finding cheaper transport to Padang bay and also speed boat tickets to Gili Trawangan. Good Warungs close to bungslows.

Nothing. Just sorry that we had to go away so soon.
