Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandWonderful people (both in the resort and for the dive center), very good food (especially important it's mostly local food although they will accommodate special requests), beautifully kept gardens, and most importantly: fantastic location for getting to the dive sites.

United KingdomThe dive guides at Lembeh were lovely and they were great spotters but did not always stick close.to the group and darted around a lot. I got a bit anxious as i was using my air quickly but they were happy for me to start saftey stops on 40/30 bar (which im not used to), it was often me telling them that i wanted to do my saftey stop, despite ensuring they knew my air consumption. However they responded well to feedback.
I booked my trip in a rush, hoping to make a once in a lifetime visit to Sulawesi. I hadn't done much research, so it wasn't until I arrived in Lembeh that I realised I was far away from the famous Bunaken and could only do muck diving in Lembeh. The muck diving was PHENOMANAL for anyone wanting to see tiny stuff. However meeting other guests who had the foresight of booking the Manado and Lembeh sister resorts, I felt a bit embarrassed and a whole load of FOMO for coming to Sulawesi and not seeing Bunaken. I spoke to the management at Lembeh and they went away with my thoughts and after a day came back to confirm they had secured me a room and transfer at the sister resort in Manado and i would be able to continue my diving in Bunaken - and yes it was worth it, the coral walls and the turtles made it all worthwhile. The staff were attentive and lovely at both resorts. The dive guides in Mando were very mature and excellent. The food was great and the atmosphere between guests was excellent. I had a fab time as a solo traveller at both Thalassa resorts.

FranceYou can not drive around the island unless you take a tour with the resort. You can have walks but you have to climb steep hills. This made us feel trapped in this place although we still walked a lot to discover a max and crossed many villages, great viewpoints and secret beaches. The beach of the resort is black and full of plastic trash which the team deseperatly tries to clean up all day long every day but with no success., the volume of trash seems to depend on the current . That said, when you cross the trash you come to a white sand beach in 5 minutes max with no trash and no people and really beautiful and very big where you can swim, ask for the way because you can not see it as its behind the resort and not belonging to the resort. No Wifi connection in the rooms and very poor connection in the restaurant, I could not work with it at all. Some days the divivg took place in the middle of trash, only one great dive in 8 days (Magic Rock) but it depends on the current again.
The service team is very helpful and friendly. The food changes every day and includes barbecue and even pizza at some days. The bungalows are very nicely decorated. The pool is really long, you can do real swimming in it!!! The setting in the jungle is really beautiful and resort very comfy and clean. The Padi course for our kids was very good.
