Chandra is the owner and he’s one of the most nice person I’ll ever meet. He really want to make sure you have a good stay. Everything is very clean, the rooms are big, and the comon area it’s perfect to chill! Highly recommended <3

I really liked this place. The owners are always around, taking care of everything and helping with whatever you need. They keep the hostel clean and well-organized at all times. The pancakes are delicious! The shared room is comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious and clean. The common area is great — perfect for relaxing, having breakfast or a meal, or working on your laptop. The location is also very good: close to all the nightlife, but far enough that you don’t hear any noise at night. They also offer free coffee, tea, and drinking water. I didn’t really like the coffee, but it’s there if you want it. Lockers with keys are available to keep your belongings safe. The only thing I’d suggest — not really a complaint, more of a request — is to start breakfast at 7:00 AM so guests can leave earlier and still enjoy the included meal. I totally recommend this place!

Absolutely loved this hostel! It’s very relaxing and social hostel. The morning breakfast is absolutely delicious. The common area is equipped with a tea/coffee area 24/7 so that’s a nice touch. You can also book your snorkeling adventure directly with the hostel.

Great budget stay on the island! Our room was clean and the shower pressure was great (the water was cold but it was refreshing). Chandra was so welcoming, organised us a boat trip with other people in the hostel, breakfast was yummy, and location was great!!

The room was very bright in the morning so make sure to bring an eye mask!

Very peaceful, quite, and clean. The owner, Candra, is very nice and he cares deeply for the well being of the customers. He goes the extra mile to make sure all the guests behave respectfully and nobody is bothered. Very nice chill area at the top floor.

Absolutely nothing

The owner is absolutely wonderful. I locked myself out of my locker and the owner helpfully sorted it for me really quickly. You can tell he really cares about his customers and the hostel, really lovely owner.

I didn’t do much research but I lucked out getting a non-party hostel on my first go on Gili T! I’m not into partying so this hostel was perfect for me - quiet, chill, but still pretty social. It’s basic but very clean and homey! Candra and his staff are such great hosts, they’re welcoming and helpful but not intrusive! Also they have the cutest cats!!!!

Such an amazing place! Very chilled and relaxed but still sociable. Not a party hostel which is what I was after. Common area upstairs. It’s a basic but very clean and well run hostel. Couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff are super kind and helpful. The banana pancakes are AMAZING!

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The place was extremely clean, and the room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless as well. One of the highlights of my stay was the warm hospitality from Chandra – he was incredibly kind, attentive, and always made sure every guest was comfortable. He truly goes above and beyond. The location is also great – very close to a mosque, and hearing the call to prayer five times a day added a peaceful and comforting atmosphere to the experience. I also had the chance to meet some amazing people during my stay, which made it even more special. Chandra and the rest of the staff were all respectful, helpful, and genuinely friendly. I sincerely appreciate their efforts. If I ever come back to Gili T, I will definitely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you, Chandra, and thanks to THE HOUSE HOSTEL.

Nice, simple private room with very friendly staff and tasty breakfast (banana pancakes). The property was clean and safe. Free water, coffee and tea was a plus. It is 7 minute walk from harbour and the staff gave good recommendations.

The owner is honest, present and very friendly. The property has cats around, i still miss them 🥹 the hotel is clean, lovely, charming. We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner also does homemade banana pancakes for his guests (10/10 🤤). We loved the concept of this place. We recommend 100% !

Not big deals :if you not like mosque pray, it s nearby. But it s nearly allover the Island. The surrounding not great, but isn t his fall.. .

Shanty is nice guy, and as what he did in 2 years is good. Step by step become better, while invest along with income. For the price a great deal. A lil Oasis, if you not need a pool/a hose is good for cooling down Hope come again.

This hostel is super clean, they offer coffee and tea all day, breakfast on the terrace is delicious, they make very good pancakes. Chandra, the owner, will make you feel at home and you can feel how much he cares about his place as soon as you enter, he will help you if you need anything. I regret not spending enough time here!

The owner and other staff member were so welcoming and polite. They shared local knowledge and were super friendly throughout my stay. This made the place feel like a home from home. The music they play is super relaxing too, just a really nice atmosphere. If I visit Gili T again I'll definitely stay here.
