Friendly staff available to help, laundry service, AC in room, comfy enough bed, water fountain.

Room was dirty - ants in the corner by the door and dirt in the bathroom on the floor. Stains/mould on the headboard. The WiFi was also quite slow and didn’t work very well for us. Could have done with more pillows on the bed as there were only two which were lumpy.

Good value for money, friendly staff

The staff are very friendly. Free coffee, tea and drinking water. Location is good.

We stayed for over a week and our room was not cleaned once. We were not told anything about asking for cleaning or when it would be done. The room is very dark and gets little light during the day.

For such an affordable price, the room, facilities, and service exceeded expectations. Everything was clean, peaceful, and felt just like coming home. The location was also ideal, with a supermarket, express laundry, and the city center all nearby.

I liked being greeted warmly with a smile and being spoken to politely and respectfully. Arto and Nugi went over and above to assist with arranging a taxi for a day tour and booking a train.

I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer.

Hostel was basic, but price/quality was good. Staff is very friendly, some speak little to no English though. But then they try with Google translate so that was ok. Location is fine, like max 10 minutes walk a lot of restaurants. Big and cheap supermarket next door. We stayed a total of 6 nights. Upon request you get clean towels, some water bottles and soap. Free tea and coffee in the lobby room. Sometimes it felt like we were the only guests, so quiet place in an otherwise bustling city.

Beds were a bit narrow. Aircon started dripping water the last 2 days, which made the bathroom floor wet.

The Kresna Hotel is great if you don't have large expectations. We were just looking for a simple stay in Yogya for two days, which we found with Kresna hotel. Family room was perfect for us with 2 young kids. It is a very basic room with no breakfast, but all was clean.

Reception is there to check you in, but do not expect any further great help. If you need help with laundry or day trips from the Hotel out, you won't get it there.

Really nice hotel, staff was very friendly and our room was really clean. Also the location is great, close to a street with nice restaurants. Would highly recommend!

I really love the hotel, it closes to city center but offer a peaceful environment . the building has traditional and homey Javanese architecture and comfortable properties.

This place has it all: Lovely old building with a garden and comfortable beds and aircon, at great value and within just a short walk of Alun Alun and Taman Sari. There's a local supermarket just around the corner and a money changer across the road. Wifi is good and the staff are super helpful and friendly. Oh, and if you're staying there, you can also borrow one of their bicycles for free. Thoroughly recommended this place.

All good, but you might want to get the staff to spray the room for you in the evening, to ward off mozzies and other bugs.
