Everything about our stay at the Lumbung Jaya Resort was perfect. Staff was very friendly, food was really good and our room was amazing. Waking up to the jungle view is really nice. Everything was super clean as well. It’s a 40min ride to Ubud, but we knew this and did not mind. We were happy we stayer here where it’s quiet and more peaceful than in Ubud’s center.

The Lumbung Jaya was an amazing stay for us. The location and setting was quiet and amazing with a fantastic view over the jungle. The staff were helpful and very welcoming. It was the highlight of our trip to Bali so far.

Nice and quiet place, the room is big with a nice jungle view + private pool. They have a decent size gym, good spa and good food. There are not many options for food but its really good. I recommend this place

We had a truly wonderful stay! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. Our suite room overlooking the valley was spacious and featured a stunning private pool — everything was just perfect. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The restaurant was also a great experience: the food was very good, the atmosphere very pleasant, and the prices reasonable compared to places in town. Location is good too, you can go easily to Ubud by car, and Tegallalang rice terrace. A big thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special — we hope to come back again soon!

Lumbung Jaya Resort is an absolute hidden gem. Tucked away in a lush jungle setting, it offers complete privacy and tranquility – the perfect escape from the crowds. I really needed this relaxing setting! The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warmest, kindest staff who genuinely cared about making my stay special. Their attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality made me feel truly welcome. The restaurant on-site was another highlight – every dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. The combination of peaceful surroundings, incredible service, and delicious food made this stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a serene, nature-filled getaway with top-notch hospitality.

There's very few options on their Menu. They also don't sell alcohol and theres no restaurants or cafe's close by. They should explain this in their welcome message.

We had an amazing 14-night stay at Lumbung Jaya Resort and are truly grateful to the entire staff. We’ve never experienced such kindness and warmth anywhere else, and we travel often! Bali is a beautiful place, and these wonderful people made it even more magical with their incredible energy. A special thank you to Ari and Sapitri, who always welcomed us with a smile and helped us with everything we needed — from giving us great ideas for day trips to quickly solving anything that came up. One of the highlights of our stay was the Balinese dance class offered at the resort — it was such a fun and unique experience! We highly recommend trying it — the energy is unforgettable! We stayed in the biggest rooftop room, and it was just wow! Waking up to that stunning view in the morning felt surreal. The room is very spacious, the bathroom is beautiful, and the view over the jungle is so peaceful — exactly what we were looking for. The resort also has a small gym — fully equipped and probably the cutest one we’ve ever used! The weather wasn’t on our side the whole time, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool as much as we would’ve liked, but honestly, the rain even added to the peaceful atmosphere we were craving. There’s also a billiards table at the resort — we used the chance to learn how to play while waiting for our meals at the restaurant. Speaking of the restaurant — the quesadilla is an absolute must-try! Every single staff member was amazing, and it was truly hard for us to leave. But without a doubt, we’ll be back!

The location was in a middle of nowhere - quite far from both Ubud and Kintamani so if you just want to stay at the resort it works, or if you want to move less but access more areas. It was also quite new so a few things didn’t work - no coffee machine, half of the menu not available, no spa (they can call a local masseuse to your room though), construction at the property.

The views were stunning, so was the interior of the room & bathroom. The food was also quite good for a resort, especially breakfast.

Truly loved my stay and in great part thanks to the wonderful staff who are very responsive and efficient. As for the room, I stayed in 101 and it was one of the best rooms I ever stayed in and I travel a LOT. The way it's designed makes you feel you're the only one in the resort with beautiful private pool overlooking the jungle. This was my first trip to Bali and I will not hesitate to stay here again during my next visit.

Wow, what a beautiful room!! Me and my husband have traveled a lot and this is the best room we have ever had! A private pool, beautiful bathroom with a big shower and bathtub, a very big and comfortable bed, and a minibar to enjoy a cold beer with the spectacular view! We ate at the restaurant at Jaya Resort and the food was amazing!! We had 5 different courses and every meal was beautifully prepared for us and tasted soooo good! You have to try the pumpkin soup and the steak! And also the caramelised banana with ice cream👌We are so impressed over the different tastes and the combination of them! The staff did an amazing job to decorate the dining table for us with roses spread all over and shaped like a heart. Very romantic❤️ In the morning, me and my husband just sat in the bed with a cup of coffee and enjoyed the amazing view - it was stunning! Me and my husband also tried the floating breakfast, which we highly recommend! Very good smoothie bowl and eggs Benedict with avocado toast👌 There is also a nice gym at the hotel for doing som cardio and lifting weights 👍

Hundred of Ants falling from ceiling on to my bed no rooms were available but got moved to a spacious room the next day they apologised about the situation. Breakfast pastries are not fresh. Checkout is at 12pm but at 11am we felt like they were rushing for us to get out of the room to clean the room for next guest.

Nothing, it’s really great value for a visit!

This is more than amazing! This place is awesome, beautiful design architecture, interior design, surrounded by jungle. But what’s more exceeding expectation is definitely the staffs! They had surprised me with a birthday setting in my room, even with a bouquet of flowers 🥹, and a birthday mini celebration for me. I didn’t expect any of this, and they’re beyond considerate. This really made my trip so special. Thank you!!

Nothing love everything about it.

The Villa is breathtakingly beautiful with the amazing scenery and clean rooms. The staff is friendly, efficient and respectful. We will definitely come back again and will recommend anyone to stay here. Thank you Villa Lumbung Jaya for making our stay a memorable one.
