Our stay at Sanctoo was amazing! An exceptional experience on all levels, the place, the location, the staff, the food… We have booked the villa with private pool. It was spacious, spotless and well designed. What made our experience even more special, was the incredible service. Every staff member was warm, attentive and helpful and especially Eka, Dewi, Yuro, Rifki, Indra, Yogi, Komang Ayu, Sekar and Dekuid who mostly served us during our stay. We felt genuinely cared for. If you are looking for a peaceful escape, surrounded by nature and kindness, Sanctoo is the place to be!

Bathroom was needing a good clean or re-grout. Shower is open and next to the bath, causing lots of mould ingrained into the grout. Quite off putting when in the shower. Aside from that, all else was great!

I stayed in the family aviary, and it was an incredible choice. The suite was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding birds and beautifully designed interiors that were even more impressive in person. All staff from the receptionist to the security guards were incredibly warm and welcoming, truly making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived Dewi, the receptionist, truly stood out with her warm and welcoming demeanor. The massage therapists at the spa and wellness retreat provided exceptional service, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and relaxed amidst those immaculate views. Each morning, I indulged in the delicious breakfast buffet, which offered an array of mouthwatering choices, and dinner was just as satisfying—definitely filling! I encountered absolutely no issues during my stay at Sanctoo Suites and Villas. I wholeheartedly give it a 10/10 recommendation for couples, friends and families looking to experience Ubud, especially if you're planning to visit the Bali Zoo, which is just a quick 2-minute walk from reception. The pillows were a bit hard to sleep on, but that is more a personal choice. Cassowary Restaurant prices are a bit pricey for the quality.

The staff were excellent especially Dewi at FO, Dewi in restaurant and Martin in the Wantillan cafe. Access to the Zoo Breakfast was very nice with a varied selection. Wantilan restaurant was nice to eat in and reasonably priced.

it was not a big issue, but some personnel didn't know that I was staying at the hotel and it was a bit uncomfortable to be in reception truing to explain them that I was staying at the Hotel. All solve it and it was ok. but it will be great if the have a way to check.

10/10! I loved everything about this hotel! We had a private villa with pool, the villa is very beautiful and quiet, the perfect get away People are so friendly and helpful, the restaurant is also really good. Breakfast is good and everything is fresh, I have seen bigger breakfast buffets but for the price it’s definitely worth it. I love this hotel and I will miss it, will definitely come back if I visit Bali. I really recommend booking the villa!

Everything is super. We had very memorable stay with sanctoo. All the staff are attentive. They show the truly hospitality with no discrimination. Feel welcome on every step that you take in this establishment. Worth the money with all the benefits that we get. It's just like one pack excellent short escape with Sanctoo from our daily routine. Very recommended for those traveling with kids. Can't wait to stay again.

🌿 A Perfect Escape into Nature and Luxury 🌿 This hotel offered the perfect retreat from our busy lives, allowing us to truly relax and indulge in luxury. From arrival, we felt pampered and well cared for. The staff were incredibly attentive, humble, and charming, creating a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Surrounded by lush greenery, we could unwind among the trees, listen to birdsong, and watch butterflies in their natural habitat. Our villa was simply perfect—a private pool for family fun, a comfortable bed, a well-stocked minibar, and a beautifully maintained bathroom. The outdoor shower was a refreshing touch. The restaurant’s breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the staff’s warm hospitality made dining a pleasure. We were so impressed that we returned for dinner twice. Every meal was a delight, especially the spicy yet incredible Bebek Crispy! A special thanks to Anya, whose kindness helped our shy child feel at ease and made us relaxed and fun, and to Ugik, our knowledgeable and friendly driver. One might wonder: • Did the resort smell like a zoo, given its proximity? → No, not at all! • Were mosquitoes an issue during our February–March stay? → Surprisingly, no! We were amazed by how well this resort maintained its clean, eco-friendly environment, something rare even in our own country. The harmony between wildlife, nature, and the hotel’s team was truly admirable. Thank you for an unforgettable experience—we will cherish the memories and hope to return soon!

The aircon in the room is on one side so either the it can too hot or too cold.....

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall for the main building where we stayed was quite nice but my extended family who stayed in the Villas had quite few problems with Aircon, door not locking, telephone wire was plug into wrong plug so could call reception.

Stayed in their regular room, it was spotless and bathroom was very well ventilated - no mould or odor issues here which is rare for a humid place like Bali! layout of room is great too, balcony overlooks the pool and overall feels very warm and welcoming. I felt very safe as a solo traveler. Whole place is very professionally run (eg daily testing on pool) and staff is very attentive. Moved here after issues with another hotel and I would wholeheartedly recommend!

My experience was flawless from start to finish. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The dining experiences, both dinner and breakfast, were exceptional. I couldn't find a single thing to fault—everything was simply great!

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! I chose it for its convenient location, close to both Bali Zoo and Ubud. The ambiance was perfect for families, offering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The room and bathroom were both spacious and beautiful. Dinner was absolutely delicious, and the breakfast spread was impressive with plenty of options, all enjoyed in a peaceful and serene setting. Expensive. Includes zoo tickets but daughter’s and I found the zoo quite sad - very small cages often with only one animal. All animals looked hot without much option for shade. The Tigerand Sun bear were particularly sad looking - pacing backwards and forwards with nowhere to go. Also still offering Elephant rides ☹️. Won’t be back to the zoo. So we spent the rest of our stay at the accommodation by the pool which was still nice.

We stayed here in a beautiful villa with a pool and it is amazing. This place is located next to the Bali Zoo and there are a lot of activities nearby. Clean and tidy and tasty food. Great place to stay and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
