I can't see the need for a quilt cover on the bed in this climate. A sheet would be preferable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, with all the necessary facilities. The beds were large and very comfortable, . The pool area was large and nicely landscaped with trees and plants. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfasts which gave me the opportunity to try many of the local dishes.

For a 4-star hotel to have bathtub, nice! Likewise the pools are commendable. Above all, the variety and taste of the breakfast exceeded my expectation. Overall it worthed more than what we paid for.

The pool is for hotel guests but very busy with people using the pool and chairs that are not hotel guests. The pool is accessible for the public to use which interfers with the hotel guests enjoyment of the pool.

five star quality, great facilities and a great price. The hotel was built in the 90s, lots of teak and nice marble work. Still in decent condition. Best hotel we stayed in from our road trip from Bangkok to Bali, only stayed here because our car broke down near Solo, so we were forced to find a hotel for the family. It turned out to be the nicest hotel. Definitely will plan my Jakarta/Bali road trips to stop in Solo and avoid Semarang from now on.

Everything! Chef, Pak Kiki provides exceptional, various, good quality, and tastefully food. I saw him, personally checking the presentation the food on buffet area during our breakfast. We stayed there from June 22-26 in room 205. I All staff provide excellent services. I remember one dining staff mbak Ayak, we saw her at dinner shift and the next morning we saw her again, and she still still showing a great attitude, smile on her face & work delligently. I know that's not easy. The room is also clean, bed comfortably & hotel location us very strategic Overall we are very satisfied with Sunan Hotel. Definitely highly recommended & will come back again anytime I visit Solo. Please keep up the excellent work!

The room can be furnished or renovated better most of the furniture and wall paint are damaged and not pristine anymore. This hotel would be better if they provide playground for kids

This hotel provide bolsters! And this is one of few hotel with warm water pool so you can swim until late comfortably. Not to mention the pool is spacious compared to other hotel.
