amazing family running Tiu Ronton campground. Marsurian is a wonderful chef and we ate every meal onsite. it was a fun party atmosphere night 1 with the owner Joe joining us and then lovely peaceful night 2 for sleeping and joyous card games night 3 getting to know the other visitors. Ari offers a local tour and Hahn can help with any requirements. We hired scooters from Hahn and traveled over four days to Senaru and TeteBatu very easy to arrange and quality bikes with helmets provided. amazing service and fun guy.

the locks on the bathroom doors didn’t work which was a bit uncomfortable and the hot water wasn’t great but you don’t need it because it’s so hot anyway.

the host was so so so lovely. his food was fantastic and the price was very fair. the accom was on a beautiful river and the sounds of the stream were great.

Pleasant comfortable remote place and very good to get out of all the business to just relax and enjoy the river/ jungle around. You can also meet other travelers if you like to socialise. If not you’re being left in peace which I appreciated. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The tent I was sleeping in was clean with a comfortable mattress. It gets noisy from the wildlife at night, but that is to expect when you live in the jungle. I loved the outside area on a shady balcony with rice pillows. Cold water, beers and coke. Fruit juices and local food for a reasonable price. Don’t think there was wifi but you get reception.

The kidness and amability of the stuff, they were super friendly and showed us many things of the area and the vilage where they live. They also helped with everything that we need. They showed us secret spot to take a swinm in the river and also how do they make sugar and honey. We were really happy there!

Stayed in a tent and it was a pretty decent size. They also provide a mattress so it was actually really comfortable. Very relaxing environment Maseri (Marco) makes the best nasi goreng. Hot showers! They also have plugs in the communal areas to charge up your electronics

Sometimes there are friends of the owner there and they get a little annoying because they tend to be pushy. They have no Wi-fi which is problematic without mobile data but otherwise it's fine. It's also a bit in the nowhere but the owner drives you around with no problems.

The owner and his family are sooo nice and make the best food for such a little price. The whole location is just beautiful with a small pond at a stream. Camping vibes but in small wooden barracks with a mattress. Really cool if you want to be a little in the nature. They also make a trekking tour to see the brown sugar progress, get some coconut and other stuff. We couldn't do it but it sounded really nice!!

EVERYTHING!! Even though I am Canadian, I am not a camper at all... but this place kept catching my eye online, and it was fabulous!! Great staff, great and comfortably-priced food, and near to Bangsal harbor. Everything that you see on Booking.com is exactly as it is... but if course, puctures can not capture the serenity. Perfect place for me, for regular meditation!

Everything was perfect. The bungalows are simple, but for the price, they’re absolutely worth it. The place is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature and a crystal-clear river. We received a very warm welcome. If you’re not able to drive a scooter, you can ask the owner to take you on some visits. The food is also delicious and very affordable! One evening, a small bonfire gathering was organized — it was great! Thank you for everything, I hope to come back one day Eva and lorie

We stayed night here and had an incredible experience. We arrived late and got a warm welcome. The host is super friendly. A very Jummy and massive plate of nasi goreng was served to us. Facilities are basic but good. The place itself feels secluded and like a hidden gem. You will fall asleep by the sound of the river. You can take a dip in it too, this was refreshing! Apparently you can walk up 5 to 10 min and there is a bigger pool with slide to swim in. Also the home made ginger coffee is delicious and they make your breakfast too if you asks. They arranged transport to our next accommodation too. Would recommend to everyone!

It is a beautiful serene setting with a river running through it. Great for swims throughout the day. Mansur was so lovely and accomodating. He made our stay really special. Fires at night, great coffee in the morning and they will make food if you like...Definitely will be back!

Our stay here was amazing, the place is very relaxing, quiet and people are so nice and friendly. The staff and the owner helped us as much as possible, they took us around, showed us places, helped us with everything we needed … we also had the best Nasi goreng all thanks to Marco ! Shower had hot water and toilets were very clean. we stayed there for 6 nights and we will come back ! We highly recommend this place .

Please, if you are women traveling alone, DO NOT STAY HERE. The worker seems very kind but has hidden intentions. He offered to take me to the supermarket because I asked where it was. He took me, and everything was fine, then he stopped at a house where there were more people, including someone staying at the hostel, and we went to see the rice terraces. Later, he asked if I wanted a chair to watch the sunset, and although there were still several hours left, I accepted because the place was very beautiful. After a few minutes, he said he would like a massage, which I didn’t respond to because it seemed strange. Then, without asking, he started giving me a massage, which made me very uncomfortable, and he noticed but didn’t stop, even when I removed his hands from my body. He said, ‘more massages later’ and tried to grab my hand with who knows what intention. I quickly pulled it away, and he grabbed it again with more strength and insistence. At that moment, I yanked my hand away from his, and only then did he let go. I asked him to take me back to the hostel, I was very uncomfortable and didn’t know what to do. When I got back to the hostel, I locked myself in the 2x2 meter room for 18 hours without eating because I was terrified something might happen. Unfortunately, there were no other places available that night, or I would have left. Looking at the reviews, he seems like a great person—very kind and attentive—but he has hidden intentions and makes you feel very uncomfortable. Please, if you are alone, do not stay in this place.

Wow, such a great place to stay at! Super relaxing with the fresh water river and had the best nasi goreng of my life. Also the toilets were very clean! The owner took me on hikes and it was a great way to see the sunset and some other swimming spots.
