Everything was great.

We had a beautiful stay at Tunak. Our ocean view villa with pool was wonderful. Sunsets on the restaurant deck were great and the food high quality. We also enjoyed horse riding at sunset and massages that were some of the best we have had.

The location is a little far from some tourist spots but if it's tranquillity you want, this is the place for you!

The staff were amazing - always happy, super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room (with a private pool) was beyond words. It offered us privacy when we wanted it with incredible sea views. Wardah and all the reception crew are just a joy and always had a smile on their faces. Lalu is just a master in the kitchen - his food is delicious and he was even happy to take requests when we wanted something off menu. All in all Tunak Resort offered us peace and a real escape from every day stresses. We're already planning a return trip!

I would have like a beach where we could swim

We loved that it was remote and peaceful with stunning views from all areas of the property! We loved that they were conscious of the environment even in the small details The conservation program for the turtles was amazing and we loved seeing the bunnies and peacocks and deer Also no chemicals for cleaning, spraying etc was a big plus The staff were all exceptional too many to name but they were all friends by the end of our stay ! The chef was fabulous, creating delicious dishes at every mealtime and happy to create something for you if requested

We had an amazing 12 nights at Tunak! The staff was extremely kind and professional. The room is pretty big and modern but blending well with the jungle surrounding. Food is great, with a wide selection of Indonesian cuisine and western. The view from the room and the restaurant is just breath taking. Lots of activities to enjoy and skilled therapist for a relaxing massage. I cannot reccomend this place enough :)

The resort is located on the cliffs side 4km inside of the jungle. We had 2 bedroom cliff villa with a private pool. The view from the villa was breathtaking. Constant sound of the waves. The kids had the best time every morning on the way to the breakfast they would stop by to feed raindears and rabbits. And check on the new hatching of baby turtles. They were fully entertained by the staff and learned about surrounding wildlife. The restaurant provides a good selection menu: western, local, vegetarian, and gluten-free selection, kids menu. They served life lobster, the size of the lobster will be weighed in front of you, as they charge per 100 grm. It's has been a week since the day we departed, and we are already planning our next trip

Absolutely nothing!

Everything! The villa, the view, the staff, the food, the surroundings, I could go on! Every meal was fantastic and at a good price point. Drinks watching the sunset every afternoon before a delicious dinner, swimming in our private pool, feeding the deers, releasing baby turtles at the beach. Already planning our next trip back to this magical place.

While more food options would have been nice, we understand it’s a challenge given the secluded location. That said, the available choices were sufficient for a 3-day stay.

The location was beautiful and nicely secluded within the nature reserve. There were plenty of activities available on the property itself, perfect for the whole family. My husband and I loved the villa's relaxing vibes and enjoyed unwinding, while our daughter had lots to do, from feeding the deer and rabbits to swimming in the pool and riding the ATV to explore the surroundings.

Our stay at Tunak Resort was honestly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace. There’s something truly magical about this place — the quiet, the views, the atmosphere… it’s like stepping into a dream. The view from our room was breathtaking, especially during sunrise. It felt like we had our own little piece of paradise. The staff were absolutely lovely — so kind, warm, and always ready to help with anything. The food was incredible too. Every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. We genuinely looked forward to every bite! The bed was super comfy (we slept like babies every night!), and having a quad to explore the surroundings made the experience even more fun and adventurous. Without a doubt, this is the best resort we’ve ever stayed at. We already miss it and can’t wait to come back one day.

When I first booked the place my plan was to enjoy view for a day and explore Lombok for other days. Due to weather conditions, I had to stay at the resort all 3 days and it was the best. 3 days were not enough to enjoy everything. I wish I could stay longer. The staff at the resort is so kind, careful, and happy. They also do a lot of charity work by bringing kids from nearby school on Saturdays. Loved everything I will definitely come back. Thank you for making me feel like at home!
