We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

FranceWhen we are in Surabaya, we like to try to stay in 4 or 5 stars hotels. So, this year, among the hotels we tried to stay, we reserved Tunjungan Hotel for 2 nights (27 - 29 dec.). The 1st night, we found that the duvet cover wasn't in good condition. Torn in some places. Also, duvet cover was not put correctly. The staff put the feet part in the head part. I asked to change our room. Receptioniste staff, was very nice, asked to the room service to change our duvet cover, because the hotel were full-booked, she couldn't give us another room. The day after, the room service staff made same mistake (feet part was in the head part). Our conclude that the room service staff didn't know how to put the duvet cover. It propably they were not trained well. So, finaly, we re-made it our self. Other thing is the hotel is an old hotel, we can smell it also in the corridor. The bathroom was clean, but it was seen old, too. There's no hair dryer. The lift sometimes didn't work well. We were in the 3th floor, but sometime, the lift didn't stop in the floor event we called. After 10 minutes waiting, we decided to take the stairs, and the stairs weren't clean, looked like they were never cleaned. The most of clients are local, but we hope that it's not beacause of it the management of the hotel doesn't care about the detail. Certainly that the location of the hotel is very good, but a good hotel is not only about the location. This 4 stars hotel is lack of investment, it could be very nice hotel if it well maintained.
The staffs (receptioniste, door men & in restaurant) are very nice & helpfull. Ideal location. In Tunjungan area, heart of Surabaya.

IndonesiaNo bedside power point. Mattress had bodily stains and so did the mattress protector. I felt contaminated! The mould in the locker rooms is so so obvious. The lift is slow as a snail. The TV did not work. The noise from the discotheque was the last straw. I checked out the very next day.
DO NOT STAY HERE. BE WARNED. Not much to like. Staff were okay, But the place was dirty noisy and run down.

United StatesThe building is very old, AC doesn’t work properly it was hot on all three rooms that I booked for my families. My brother had to sleep on the floor because how hot the room was. It was 105 Degree Fahrenheit in Surabaya. Shower water pressure wasn’t good. The view from windows are concrete wall.
