Even though it rained the entire time I was there, it was magical just watching the lush jungle from my balcony. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful.

Although our room was spacious, comfortable and had great views, there was a bit of mould visble in the shower/bathroom area. May have been due to the room we had being the very bottom and lowest room onsite? Couldn't say if any of the other rooms were the same. Also, if you get the same room as we had, be prepared for a lot of stairs to get up and down from the main lobby area. Pool area could also do with a little clean up as well.

View was great. Staff were very nice. The included breakfast was very tasty and had an extensive menu and options. Our room was spacious and comfortable. My partner and I got massages at the spa onsite, which was very nice and relaxing. Location is good, reasonably close to Ubud's main shopping streets. Although, I don't think you'd be able to walk there and beware the traffic can get very busy in peak hours, as it took 40 minutes to get 1km in a car in ubud town centre. Would suggest taking a scooter everywhere if possible.

Everything was perfect and we highly recommend staying, but it’s worth noting that the hotel restaurant left a bit to be desired, the food was mediocre and some of the breakfast options weren’t great, but hate to sound negative it was a wonderful experience staying here.

The staff and grounds/ view were the absolute highlight of the trip everyone was lovely and the view out of the bedroom window or from the pool was mental. The spa was excellent we had traditional Balinese massages which were complementary and we not only really appreciated them but they made our travel day so much more relaxed

I loved everything about it. The one thing I’d be careful of is that it is not an accessible property. There are stairs everywhere - including steep stairs to the bottom pool. If you have mobility issues, this property might be a nightmare for you. This is the only reason why I gave facilities 9 out of 10.

Everything! This was one of our favourite stays. The location itself is quiet and comfortable, hidden down a tree lined driveway and tucked into the hills. We had a poolside room and had the space to ourselves for the majority of the time. It was close to Ubud central, a decent walk but 5 mins on the back of a bike. In a car it would take longer with the traffic. Staff were brilliant and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily with free bottled water replaced. Every-time I had to call reception for things (food, laundry and general items) they were responsive and quick. The food was lovely and not too expensive. The cocktails were amazing! The views were epic.

We stayed here last year and returned, but the accommodation has clearly declined. The first room was dark and felt unused, with the toilet positioned under the shower. We changed rooms—layout was better, but there was a strong mold smell. The place really needs renovation and a bit of new life. Breakfast and dinner menus were exactly the same as last year.

Location with its stunning valley view never bores - still the highlight of the stay.

Our room had the shower and toilet in the one area ( no screen or patittion between them) and when using the shower the whole floor became wet. We had to use towels to dry it so we could use the toilet without getting feet wet and walking water through the accommodation.

I loved the location it was an oasis in the rainforest away from the busy streets. The design and architecture is so well thought out with no detail spared. The staff are so helpful. The room was spacious and the bathroom clean. Our balcony overlooking the pool and rainforest was perfect. I cannot fault anything here. Our guide and driver was exceptional and we loved having him take us to places. The price was so reasonable for a family of 4.

We were unable to get the family room & booked 2 x deluxe suites. I discussed positioning & rooms with staff via email but unfortunately the 1st night we were still put in the small hotel style rooms up the back for the same price. The next day we were moved to lovely rooms with a view we requested. Hope to return soon. Thank you

There were quite a few bugs inside the room. Parts of the pool area are deteriorating including some broken tiles. The pool toilet wasn’t clean, it had a bad smell and bugs everywhere. There wasn’t enough lounge chairs by the pool. Disappointed that you couldn’t get breakfast room service. The food was yummy but very basic/simple.

The view from the balcony was spectacular. A variety of seating options inside and outside the room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The pool was nice and there was a great view. It was nice to have a pool bar next to it and have drinks served by the pool.

Compared to the dinner service breakfast is slightly less spectacular, but still sufficient.

When leaving the busy road you enter a totally different world. The resort is stunning, all natural materials and amazing view into the valley. Staff was extremely friendly, our private pool suite beautiful and good food and drinks. Truly once in a lifetime experience.

The breakfast was superb ! Best I’ve had in Bali ! Crepes are a must try ! Food overall is great . Pool is lovely , clean & fresh ! Rooms are clean , spacious . Last of all the staff are so attentive ! Best we’ve encountered in Bali so far ! A little slice of paradise tucked away !

The breakfast menu was very restricted compared to other hotels visited in Bali. Although they were helpful in allowing me to choose two items from the main course instead of only one, the choice of menu is simply too restrictive. I do not eat any bread or cereals, so I feel they should look into it providing more diversity into the meals. Distance to Ubud Central is quite far, so money for transport became quite costly in the end. The hotel charge for pick-up from Ubud Central of 85 IR was very high.

The river suite was brilliant with the best possible view of all units. Loved the outdoor jacuzzi and big shower. Bed was very comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The shuttle service to Ubud Central three times a day was good. The resort is breathtakingly beautiful and resemble the true Balinese culture.
