The resort is on the other side of Ubud, so the Traffic to and from the airport is pretty horrendous. The yoga was not included in the price of the room, it would be nice to have more daily activities.

This Resort is outstanding overall. My partner and I had to stay in this room as an emergency, after he fell ill the day prior. The service and facilities were brilliant. The staff were able to accommodate our early check-in request, and we received the very best in accommodation and service throughout our stay. The rooms are very large, with a lounge area and a good-sized private balcony. The bathroom was GORGEOUS and HUGE! I was able to enjoy the facilities while my partner rested. The setting was tranquil, away from the busy city centre. The grounds of the resort were immaculate and peaceful. I really enjoyed my time wandering the grounds and sitting by the pool. I was also able to enjoy a private yoga session on the pool deck. The breakfast was fantastic - a great range of both Indonesian, and Western options. I also had dinner at the restaurant which faces the street and has a great vibe.

The only downsides were that the location was a bit far from the cafés and shops in Ubud center, so you definitely need a scooter or car to get around. Also, alcohol service ended quite early in the evening. However, the staff still went out of their way to assist us whenever they could.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were extremely kind and always smiling. The rooms were spacious, bright, and very clean. They were always helpful whenever we needed anything from the facility. The pool area had a lovely atmosphere, and we also enjoyed the massage and yoga services. The food was delicious. Breakfast was included in our booking and we could choose two options each morning. We also rented a scooter directly from the hotel, which was cheaper than in the city center.

Upon arrival there was an event in the garden. No problem, and also Some fun. They told us the kitchen would still be open. But when we wanted to order it turned out that the kitchen was closed so they told us to order food ourselves. With our three-year-old daughter, this was not ideal. They promise us a free drink. We didn’t get. The next day we made another attempt to have breakfast and diner. The quality is below standard and the things we like to order weren’t available. Our room is noisy, is behind the reception. And wellness was under renovation.

Everything was amazing, but if I want to be strict, they could improve the breakfast a little. We ordered a float breakfast; while everything was fine, it wasn't very tasty.

Everything was amazing. My husband and I had a great experience at Vije Hotel. The staff were very helpful and kind, especially Made, who assisted us in many situations.

Our room itself was incredible but the soundproofing was not good. We could hear every noise within the surrounding area very clearly (e.g in the bar/restuarant downstairs or people in neighbouring rooms and the corridoor outside, as well as the outside area below our room) which made it difficult to get to sleep until all the noise had subsided (approximately 2am both nights).

The hotel was beautiful. The staff were absolutely amazing, particularly the two staff who greeted us at the desk when we arrived, especially the lady who showed us our room. We would also like to specially mention Gede, our driver for the day who showed us the local attractions. He was excellent and ensured we thoroughly enjoyed our experience - we had an amazing day touring the local attractions specifically because of him.

A bit noisy, it sits between two streets. We changed rooms cause it was smelling of mold. Care for the guests. I was given a broken helmet with my scooter, I felt the staff did not care whether I would have had an accident.

Our stay at Vije was amazing! The food was great and reasonably priced, our room was absolutely stunning, and most importantly the staff and service were exceptional. Everyone was very helpful and extremely accommodating. I would certainly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again in the future! Also the location is great and only a 10 minute ride away from the centre of Ubud. The hotel offer a free of charge shuttle service or you can use Grab which is very affordable.

The meal arrangements were strange, there is a beautiful restaurant and bar down by the pool but it is not staffed so you order in the other restaurant next to reception and the road and it gets delivered to your table and staff hover while you eat it. The quality of the food was poor so we ate dinner out, the breakfast offering was very limited. The private pool in the villa was cloudy and uninviting so we didn’t use it. Some staff were excellent but there were many trainees who could do nothing without finding a colleague. The spa and gym are accessible only via a staircase through the undergrowth that is a river in the wet.

The Villa itself was good with nice outside seating, the communal pool was lovely looking out over the valley.

The food for dinner was okay. Also the bathroom doesn't have a window, only shutters; it creates a unique jungle vibe tho; just be aware bugs could come in (we were hiding food and drinks in the fridge; wasn't too bad with the ants then). Some areas (like the pool stairs) would need some renovation.

The staff was extremly friendly and helpful. The music on the property made you feel in a full day spa. Very nice atmosphere. Mostly very quiet. Had the pool all to ourselves on multiple mornings. Very clean everything. The small gym was good equiped.

The bed sheet had stains (it’s cleaned but the colour was still there) the options of breakfast were very limited, so if you stay more than a few days, it’d be not ideal. But it was tasty.

The room and public space were very clean. More than that, the hotel staffs were very kind. We were recommended a trail by the rice field, at the time were overwhelmed with the crowded central Ubud, so we were glad to experience the silent rice field area.

Beautiful hotel, the room was incredibly spacious with a huge comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom. Loved the rain shower and bath. Everything we needed was provided. Pristine. Every single staff member was welcoming, friendly, kind, and helpful. We were assisted in any questions we had, they organised a hike up mount Batur for us. We had our laundry done- easy and efficient process. Massages were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. We felt lucky to experience the dinner with cultural dance on the Friday. Thank you for a great stay!

The only downside is it’s a bit far from everything so you will need extra time to get to ubud central. Good thing is they provide a shuttle to and from which was great!

The villa we had was amazing! It was very spacious and had everything you needed to have a good stay. The staff was always friendly and helpful and the site was kept clean all the time.

Great stay in Vije. What can I say for this hotel? Everything amazing. The people, the private villa, the pool, the jungle , the brekafast, the restaurant, the cleaness. We loved our stay there.
