Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicBusy street, but it didn't matter, the rooms are far from it and quiet. They don't have pick-up service at the airport. But taxi is no problem there.
Good place for a short stay and maybe daily snorkeling trips to Komodo national park. It is in walking distance from the harbour. Breakfast was simple but good, nice restaurant in the garden.

CanadaBreakfast portions are small. Would have liked to have a coffee refill but only one small cup is included. Service was very slow, even though we were the only people eating breakfast. We had two people staying in the triple room and there was no bedding provided for the sofa bed. It costs extra.
This is a very cute B&B. Only four rooms in total; two with double bed and balcony; two with double bed & sofa bed, no balcony. The rooms were a decent size and the balcony had a table and chairs and lovely view. The cozy pool is tucked into between the rooms and restaurant area. There are a few seating areas to sit to eat or read or visit. There is a billiard table too. The whole space is contained within many trees and feels like being in a large garden. They have a nice food menu with lots of options. We enjoyed a few small appetizers. The breakfast menu offers savoury and sweet options.

New ZealandIt is exceptionally close to the mosque. We missed this info when booking - we had to go to the pharmacy to buy ear plugs it was so loud and frequent.
We had stayed in a lot of different and 'nicer' places by the time we reached this "Hotel" so at first we were a little let down. It was very basic, more hostel style then hotel. Bathroom door didn't close (although showers looked new), no blinds on windows (a lot of light in the morning). However, we warmed to the place, it was casual and met our needs. The pool is in a nice setting, great for a quick dip to cool down. They provide towels and loungers. Breakfast is choices from the cafe, found the food portions a little on the small size (gluttonous westerner appetite!). The location was good for us, as we spent most of our time away on boat trips. Close to a range of restaurants. A very basic hotel, but if you don't have high expectations and are coming from luxury places, you'll be ok! We had some terrific food experiences here, lots to chose from.

RomaniaThe staff was very kind, and the location is nice and peaceful. However, the place looks a bit outdated and could use some renovation to truly shine. Overall, a decent experience, but with room for improvement.

AustraliaThe only thing I didn't like was that people can smoke in the pool area. This is not a problem unique to this hotel, but it really ruins the common area.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The spa is excellent and affordable. The pool area looks very nice. The location is walkable to the Fish Market and other attractions (just under 2km) though it's very hot.

New ZealandNothing bad to say. We had less time at the hotel due to a flight delay, so didn't get to use the pool or other facilities.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed and a good size. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Labuan Bajo

CanadaWe wanted to take the free hotel shuttle from the airport, but the directions provided by the hotel were outdated and lacked details. It cost us 169,000 Rp for a taxi for the very short distance to the hotel.

Czech RepublicPool area was dirty and not really taken care of. There are bean bags only by the pool, which are stored outside and dirty. There are no pool towels so you need to use one of yours. Room was ok, bathroom a bit damp and older but fine. Towels and sheets need replacing. And yes, the mosque is noisy, you need earplugs!! I didn’t book again / more nights, the price-performance was not enough.
Location is really convenient, you can walk to the airport as well as the harbor and shopping street. I really liked the pool, water was really nice and the courtyard was great to chill and lounge. Room with balcony was super nice and spacious enough. Free drinking water from a barel in the hallway

United StatesBring your ear plugs since a busy road and mosque are nearby. Ask for a room with a terrace for a bit more room. Rooms are simple but clean.
Wae Molas IS a little Urban Oasis. We liked that the hotel is very small, only 4 rooms. The breakfast is good, the beds are comfy, and the pool refreshing. The hotel is located in a busy part of town, but that means there's easy access to restaurants, ATMs, and coffee shops. We enjoyed inexpensive but very good massages. I also had a terrific pedicure. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When we had trouble purchasing a bus trip online with a credit card, we paid cash to a staff member, who used a personal bank account to buy tickets for us!
