We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The stay was impeccable. We had everything we needed from a very comfortable bed to being able to use the kitchen and even had a bus stopping right outside the door straight into town. Helena made sure we had all we needed and was very kind, flexible and accommodating when we needed to make some adjustments to our trip. Definitely would recommend and will stay again. Thanks again for making our trip so enjoyable!

Czech RepublicIt is kind of far from the city center. It is well connected by bus, but in the evening, the buses don't leave often enough. As a tourist, you will also need cash for the bus and only coins are accepted.
The host was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also nice.

Mauritius1. Being almost at Genius level 3 on Booking.com which means that I have booked more than 10 locations in a 2 year window, it was the worst experience so far. 2. We were shocked that upon arrival at the property, the host asked us to remove our shoes to enter the property and the room was located on the first floor. 3. The host was not very welcoming and she did not even introduce herself. 4. We only had access to the room including the bathroom that we have booked. 5. None of the facilities listed for this property on Booking.com were mentioned by the host upon arrival. The host only stated that we could use the kitchen to prepare Tea / Coffee but she did not even showed us where the ingredients and the oven, etc were located. Nothing was mentioned whether we would be provided Tea / Coffee or we would have to use our own. 6. Nothing was mentioned about the WIFI and we were not provided with WIFI access. 7. Nothing was mentioned about the seating area and we had to purchase food and eat it in the room itself. 8. Nothing was mentioned about the other services available at the property. Quote from Booking.com (Modern Amenities: The property features a kitchenette, washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and oven. Additional amenities include a dining area, work desk, and free toiletries.) except free toiletries. 9. There was a large dressing area in the room but it already contained stuffs for other people and we were not sure whether we were allowed to use it. Thus we left all our luggage in the car for our entire stay. 10. The bathroom also contained several used products and we were under the impression that there is a person which used the room and the bathroom permanently. 11. All the facilities that have been mentioned on Booking.com were not available for us apart the Room and Bathroom. 12.

GermanyWhere shall I start? 1) There were 2 dogs and I am allergic to dogs - no one wrote or told that there are dogs. 2) The room was dirty, including the bathroom and the towels. 3) The host - was rude and unfriendly. I really really don‘t recommend anyone to come here. Invest some more euros and either find a better AirBnB or stay in a proper hotel!

IrelandThe house is like airbnb house, each room given to somebody else. As being woman, solo traveler, I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. But luckly other rooms were booked by other ladies. Also, main entrance doors were never locked. When I was about to leave the house once, a guy in front of main entrance door noticed me standing behind the door and run away. The house heating was not on. The house was cold. Especially taking shower was difficult. Water heating was electronic, there were also boiler in the house. The hot water was not always available. When boiler turn on, it was making enormous noise. We were allowed to use the kitchen. Even with simple sandwich preparation and eating on the table bothered whoever the white old guy is. I dont think they like anyone using the kitchen. I could realise that I was being watched out. While waiting my friend to pick me, I wanted to sit in seating area for a few minutes, but the same guy said guests are not allowed even if written opposite. I wanted to use washing machine. Again you get unwelcome approach. The doors were making noise because all rooms are very near to each other. No privacy too. Anyone can hear the other guests. The location is a bit far to town center. A bus every 15 min available. But after 9 pm, taking longer.
