The place's a bit on the pricier side. Lots of stairs and narrow corridors (but elevator access to the level where some rooms are located), but that did not bother us.

Everything was nice and clean. We had a bit of a time travel experience as the decor really reminded of the 1990s, but looked spotless and brand new. There's a pub downstairs where you can get dinner and/or breakfast.

The breakfast was a little bit lacking.

No complaints about the room which was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. One of the biggest assets was the staff who were extremely helpful.

Would be good if could offer breakfast option as well. Also lacks of entertainment (I stayed during the week, I'm not sure what is like at weekends).

I really enjoyed my stay, the rooms have everything you need, they are clean and the bed is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the food is exceptional!

Just a little dated.

Rooms really clean and bright white fresh bed linen. Lots of hot water 🤩 Staff were so helpful with queries and really upbeat and courteous.

The room has more of a roadside motel feel, so nothing fancy. There is an elevator, but still had to traverse some stairs with our luggage.

The room was quiet. The food at breakfast was good, but it started later than other places we had stayed (8:30 start time). The location was very nice. The main street in Ballyvourney has a sidewalk with nice countryside to see.

Very cozy , charming old fashioned ( but in very positive way) hotel. Very nice owners and very accommodating - we arrived after midnight and they were able to check us in without any problems. Very good Irish breakfast! Clear, comfortable. highly recommended!

The building was old and the room small. Breakfast is a buffet so, some of the food stood for a while.

The staff were courteous and very friendly. Everything was spotless. Dinner was delicious.

When I arrived, I was informed that there was a problem with Cooked Breakfast, that only continental breakfast was available. It consisted of a kettle and a slice pan still in its packaging. Butter and marmalade and a packet of cornflakes. I had a coffee and a slice of toast, but when I checked out, I went elsewhere for my breakfast.

I couldn’t get a place in the bar so I got a table in the hallway. It was windy and cold. Otherwise no complaints.

it was cold in the area where we had breakfast but I wouldn’t expect them to heat a large area just for three of us.

very friendly staff, food in the bar was good value for money and the breakfast menu had several choices. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. we would definitely stay again as it provided what we needed to break our journey for the night.

We had our flight into Cork delayed so we're going to be late checking in, and the staff were thankfully able to accommodate this. The hotel's location was perfect, size of the rooms was very good and the bathroom was clean and well equipped. The bar downstairs was well stocked and had a great atmosphere. The self-serve breakfast was varied and plentiful.

The mattress was not great. No craic nearby on a Saturday night (October 22). I’ve had much better value at many BnBs in the last couple weeks so feel I overpaid to stay here. My fault for waiting til the last minute.
