Nothing to dislike really. The room was on the small side and the shower was a bit noisy when it was running but minor stuff overall.

Location was great for us as we were overnighting after climbing Croagh Patrick and the B&B was just 5 minutes up the road from there. Comfy bed, hot shower, tasty breakfast and a generous offer of scones to take with us for our onward journey.

Room was a little cramped but for 1 night this didn't matter.

We were allowed to bring our dog which was great. We had tea and scones in the sitting room on arrival. There was plenty of room.to park and the view was beautiful. We were close to Murrisk and Westport for an evening out and places for dinner. Our host was very welcoming and cooked breakfast to order. All in all it was very cosy and welcoming.

    We liked everything ♥️.

The accommodation was so clean, comfortable, and in a lovely, peaceful location. The beds were so comfortable. The hostess was so welcoming , kind, and friendly. The extended family that helped out were so professional, kind, and courteous. The food was amazing. Everything you could wish for was provided for breakfast, which was freshly cooked and piping hot. Tea and scones were available on arrival, and a sandwich or scone offered to takeaway away for lunch . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we had lovely walks in the surrounding areas. We would love to go back as it was the most relaxing holiday we had in a long time. Thank you, Margaret and family. Rosemary and David Farrell.

Margaret, the host, was very warm and welcoming. She couldn't do enough for us. She even contacted us on our way down from climbing Croagh Patrick to find out how we were doing. When she discovered we were drowned wet, she allowed us back to the accommodation to change our clothes eventhough we had checked out that morning. We will be forever grateful for her kindness.

There wasn't much that we didn't like, except the size of the room we had but we were offered another room for the second night.

The Breakfast was perfect for our needs.....there were options offered. The breakfast room was perfect for the guests and had a great view across the Bay. The shower was hot and welcome. The hospitality was superb, nothing was too much trouble.

The only downside was we didn’t stay longer

The breakfast was fantastic, a full Irish, cereal, brown bread, salmon, cheeses, home made scones. It was a feast. The location was perfect as my mam and I went to Climb Croagh Patrick and literally a few mins drive away. We will most be definitely be back but this time to stay for longer.

A first class stay at Achill View. Margaret and her granddaughters were outstanding hosts and made my son and I feel very welcome. Our room was comfortable & clean and the atmosphere homely. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, a great way to start the day when climbing Croagh Patrick. For those visiting this beautiful part of Ireland, I can highly recommend.

Parking at the locations is immediately adjacent to the main road along the coast, so you should take care when loading/unloading lggage.

This location is absolutely beautiful for front porch views of the water as it sits on the exact point the road gets closest to the water along the northern side of the peninsula. The host was very friendly, offering us tea, coffee, or a scone anytime our paths crossed, and she made us an awesome and filling breakfast with eggs to order for our long day of driving. The location is also a 15-minute drive back to Wesport, with plenty of options for djnner.

The decor is a little dated but the positive points above more than compensated for this.

The family who run this b and b were lovely. As well as giving me a tasty and varied breakfast, they gave me home baked scones and bread for a packed lunch when I left. The view from the front of the house is beautiful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good shower with plenty of hot water.

Margaret looked after us very well in a very comfy, traditional bed and breakfast, very hospitable and the home made goodies of tea and scones were a lovely surprise. Fabulous breakfast and the views of Clew Bay were sensational. The guest sitting room made for a social space to meet others and this was great for me as a solo traveller.

A genuine Bed & Breakfast with good, old-fashioned hospitality from a delightful host. All the comforts of home and an unbelievably sumptuous breakfast. Beautiful views across Clew Bay. Handy to local pubs for evening meals; and to the ferry to the outer islands.

A great location with amazing views. We enjoyed our stay after climbing Crough Patrick nearby. The host was very welcoming and thoughtful, booking us a table at the hotel for dinner after we checked in late. The home cooked breakfast was wonderful with many options. We were offered scones and biscuits to take with us for morning tea. It was a real old fashioned and genuine Irish B&B experience.

Margaret, the host, was so wonderful and welcoming. She offered us coffee and tea upon arrival and again when we came back from Westport. At breakfast, she offered for us to take bread and cheese with us for lunch. She wanted to make sure that we were comfortable in our room and had everything we needed. We would stay there again.
