Not much

The room is old, tired and cramped. The breakfast was good. The dinner was bad.

We’re very appreciative of the proprietor staying up to check us in very, very late due to a flat tire. We didn’t thank the following day in person as we left early to catch a tour bus in Galway.

View of sea with balcony was an exaggeration of a small space with a metal bar and view over the apartment behind.

Customer service not good. Room very small (beds crammed in - I was a dbl room not a family room). Very expensive for what it was. Service at bar/restaurant wasn’t good

older establishment run by locals next to ocean about 30min on one bus from Galway. Rooms set above restaurant/bar. No frills stay option for when the city is overrun, too pricey, or just not one's jam.

The staff were lovely and the service at dinner and breakfast was great. We left an item in the room and they kindly posted it back. This was very good of them.

It’s close to a busy road so the room at the front was quite noisy if the windows were open.

Lovely atmosphere in the bar and very reasonable and tasty dinner menu. Lovely view at the dining end of the bar.

Poor sound proofing. The water pipes were very noisey in the rooms at night whenever any toilet was flushed. Also the toilet didn’t flush properly in the bedroom. Not ideal.

Easy check in, friendly welcome. Room clean and cosy. Sat in outdoor bar area, food and breakfast was delicious and so was the view. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We were lucky with the beautiful weather.

The staff were very friendly and the location was good for swimming because there were lifeguards. There was free parking.

The property is a bit dated. The tables in the bar area were sticky! The en-suite had a very small sink and the toilet was difficult to flush. The on-street parking was very tight. We were disappointed that in the month of July there was no activity and very few people around. It was overpriced.
