    Nothing of note

Room was big and comfortable. Washing facilities were great as they have soft water. The choice of breakfast was good as well. I had a sizeable omelette for breakfast. The local pub was a very short walk away, which had a great atmosphere.

Although the rooms were spacious - they were a little dated, but comfortable. Lovely breakfast.

Another time I would ask for twin beds as I had forgotten how small a double bed is when you are sharing with a restless sleeper!

We really enjoyed this overnight stay & really appreciated the generosity of spirit of our hostess. She suggested that we turn the radiators on in the rooms as the weather has been very wet & put out a huge fruit bowl of lovely fresh apples & bananas 🍌 as she knows that people like to take one for their walk. The room was comfortable & the breakfast good. The water pressure in the shower was amazing!!

I think the entire development would benefit from a redecoration /refurbishment to bring it into the 21st century.

The host was very welcoming and helped me find some local sites.

This B&B offers large, attractive rooms. The rooms are all on the ground floor and situated in a horseshoe shape around well kept grounds. It was extremely quiet. The beds are comfortable. Tea and coffee is provided in the room. Everything was very clean. Breakfast is a selection of fruit and cereals plus custom hot meals (e g., eggs). The staff were wonderful. Across the way is a nice pub for dinner and drinks.

    Nothing.

We had a wonderful stay at An Portán Guest House. We were met by Geraldine, who was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We had a delicious Irish breakfast (along with tea, cereal, bread and fruit). We had a lovely view at breakfast and in our room. It was a great location for us doing the Dingle Way (8 minutes away from the path). The Kruger's bar was just a few minutes away (so we could get dinner there). The room was very comfortable and quiet we had the best night sleep here. It was one of our favourite stays in Ireland.

The room was very dusty, I think due to the carpet. My allergy to dust made it quite uncomfortable in the room, while my partner did not have the same issue.

Great communication and easy check-in/out. Excellent location!

Quiet, well kept, and clean. The property is situated in a beautiful, peaceful setting, conveniently located near the activities we planned on while visiting Dunquin. The hostess is extremely friendly and helpful, and her breakfast offerings are delicious. I would recommend anyone considering coming to Dunquin to experience An Portan Guest House. The property is also just a short walk around the corner to a very fun pub with some delicious food offerings.
