My wife, and daughters (21 &16), and I, loved absolutely everything about Aran Walkers Lodge. It is perfectly located, and the owner and manager, Sean and Brenda, are simply the most genuine and wonderful hosts. We will be back many times.

The personal was really kind to us, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was marvellous! Also, the location was perfect for tourism, since the main touristic places were nearby. Also we were offered the possibility to rent bikes at a cheaper price than in the pier.

Friendly atmosphere and wonderful staff. Lovely lounge and dining area, with all day access to tea/coffee. Great breakfast. Really good location for walking to beach, Worm hole, Dun Aenghus. They provide pick up and drop off service to Kilronan Ferry.

We had such a lovely stay at Aran Walkers Lodge on Inis Mór. The location was lovely, but what truly made our visit special was the incredible hospitality. Brenda is an outstanding host. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely at home. Nothing was too much trouble she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and her warmth and kindness truly added to the experience. Thank you, Brenda, for making our stay so memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Aran Walkers Lodge to anyone visiting Inis Mór, and we hope to return someday!

Transport to and from the town for dinner and evening entertainment (necessary) is either taxis or hired bicycles.

Location - In the middle of the island surrounded by fields and beautiful scenery. The lodge is well set up for visitors to the island - great space for relaxing and resources to look at. We were lucky enough to have fabulous weather so we're always out exploring.

The only thing we would have done differently is schedule a taxi or ride ahead of time to get there, as many of the buses by the ferry are moreso for day trippers doing a sightseeing tour. But even that ended up being fine!

Aran Walkers Lodge was the perfect place to stay on Inishmore, remote enough that it was quiet but still easy to get to the various villages. The staff (especially Brenda) was incredibly accommodating and helpful, and overall we all agreed it was the best part of our trip!

The rooms had very thin walls, hard to sleep with people in and out next door ,could hear them talking all time , shared bathroom wasn't ideal either tbh. The hosts are fabulous but the room also needed a blind and curtains ,the bed wasn't overly confortable tbh.

Beautiful area, half way up the island near the beach ,walking distance , lots to see, electric bikes needed to get up and down to pier area. Food was delicious I have to say and wonderful breakfasts every morning.

A bad wifi connection in the room. If you need to buy some food, it is better to take care of this in advance as the grocery is far.

Sean and Brenda are just great. Super polite, punctual, and keeping their words. They did help us a lot with advice on what to visit on the island, picked us up from the ferry, and took our luggage to the pier that made our stay smother and we could just enjoy our time. The included breakfast was good. Location is perfect for exploring both parts of Inishmore.

The radiator in room 6 was on full blast all night and we couldn't turn it off. Not good on a warm July night.

Little further away from the „main village“ (6km by bike)

Great people, great location, close to the beach and the wormhole! Bikes for rental and Harbour pickup are available. Brenda was really helpful and super nice - she gave us great recommendations what to do and where to go. Beautiful sitting room with tv and books and yoga mats, lovely backyard and good breakfast. Thank you for a nice stay :)

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious and comfy. Communal lounge area was comfortable and relaxing and well stocked with reading material about the area. The manager kindly ran us into town in her car. The lodge had a beautiful view. Could walk to a lot of things even though town was a car trip. Loved the location! On site bike hire was fantastic!

Brenda (and Sean and crew!) Made our stay UNFORGETTABLE! The hosts are super friendly and endeavour to make you feel right at home, and help guests in any way that they can. The rooms were absolutely snug; I didn't even need to wear my super fluffy socks and jimjams I brought with me! My family and I will stay here again ☺️

There was a little miscommunication about the arrival times but not a big problem.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. If you need a lift to or from the ferry they have you covered. The Irish breakfast was really nice. You can also rent bikes and the beach is close.
