Very friendly, nice spacious room with the use of guest living room/dining room with 24/7 tea, coffee and cookies. Fussball table and TV in communal space. Nice breakfast set up for us in the dining area with hard-boiled eggs, yogurts, breads, cereals, milk and juice. Microwave and toaster were available. We were able to get on the bus right across the street to go into Galway.

Somewhere to store our toothbrushes/paste in the bathroom and perhaps a towel rail to allow the towels to dry out after showering. Other than that we were very well catered for and welcomed.

Patrick very kindly bought in gluten free breakfast cereals, bread and cakes to ensure I had a safe breakfast each morning which was very much appreciated.

The shower curtain ended a few inches from the floor so the floor got wet. It was a bit slippy when I got out.

The owner was very friendly, courteous and professional. The room was spotless. The bed was the most comfortable bed I slept on through my entire trip. The breakfast was very tasty and more than generous.

This is no reflection on our stay or Pat, but we know it's resolvable. Unfortunately, I was unable to reach the hangers inside the wardrobe, etc, for my clothes. I'm lucky my partner is tall. If I had come away with my sister which I do a lot we both would have had a problem not able to hang our clothes. It would be nice to have a 2nd microwave in the dining area. The other couple were cooking in the microwave for the full duration of our breakfast and longer. It meant we couldn't heat the milk for our breakfast. It would be nice to have a recycling bin in the dining area as we left our stuff for Pat to get rid of. He has enough to do without these extra bits, and we apologise for leaving stuff for him. We were travelling back to Galway by bus. Otherwise, we would have taken it with us.

Pat was a very caring host, making sure everything was OK for us. He gave us plenty of information which we liked. Nothing was too much for him. He was there to greet us, which was fabulous. Our room was very cosy and warm. Pat explained how the heating system worked, so there was never any fear we would be cold. The bed was really comfortable and the bedlinen was absolutely spotless. The Christmas atmosphere throughout the house was wonderful and a credit to Mary. The house was extremely easy to find, and it was like being home away from home.

Bit awkward to find initially as on a corner but once you've got it you're fine.

Patrick was a great host who went out of his way to meet and great us and explain the features of his B&B and breakfast process. Breakfast was simple and sufficient for our needs. Location was out of city a few minutes which was not too far and close to Pádracins seafood restaurant he recommended nearby that served excellent food and very hospitable. Highly recommend it.

We found the bed a bit soft for us, but that is a personal preference. An option for a full breakfast not just the continental with hard boiled eggs would be good. Need a front door mat to wipe your shoes. Felt a bit awkward leaving damp shoe prints on their nice shiny floor tiles.

Stayed here for 1 night in September whilst on our roadtrip holiday from Australia. Friendly host Patrick greeted us and showed us around and to our room. The house was very clean and tidy, our room older style and comfortable with plenty of space. The TV worked ok as did the wifi and the heating. The location was reasonable with off street parking in front of the house available for guests and about a 15min drive in moderate traffic to go into Galway city centre.
