Excellent hotel..superb staff..great food and drinks. Very close to city..we walked to Spanish Arch in 20 minutes. And all the great bars and restaurants in the Westend streets. Breakfast very good too. Loads of staff and all very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

    Nothing.

Breakfast was very good. The lobby in the hotel on Friday was very crowded with a big wedding. Difficult to find reception

Not a lot to like to be honest. Rooms were clean.

We had 2 rooms - one had air conditioning, the other hadn't. The rooms were dated and lacked such basics for a 4 star hotel as bottles of water in the room. The breakfast was poor. Staff did not advise how the buffet worked or of any opportunity to order freshly prepared options.

The bistro and breakfast staff were lovely and helpful and honestly saved the experience for us.

This is not a 4* hotel. On arrival were several small yappy dogs fighting and they didn't stop for the evening. The front desk staff were cold and unhelpful. The hotel is grotty and tired and no way a luxury experience. I've had better breakfast buffets in student accomodation. The final straw, we weren't in the main hotel but an annex. Not a problem until you find out you have to walk outside to get there (Galway being famous for the rain). There was a covered pathway but it was being used to store excess furniture. The area we had to navigate was a staff break out room where they ate and smoked.Navigating all this with my elderly mother wasn't easy. The bathrooms were really old and the soap/lotion dispenser had ro be squeezed to be used and were difficult, again not ideal when travelling with someone elderly. I stayed in a 4*in Killarney the next night for less money and felt the luxury emanating from every corner. Not a great place, and absolutely not worth the money.

Our stay was for 2 nights as part of vacation. The room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed. We had a wonderful breakfast in the restaurant as an add on to our stay. The bar/lounge area is great (although can be quite crowded at times) but overall a very pleasant atmosphere. We took a car to town as it is a bit out of the way; but the trade off is for the quiet ambiance!

The windows in our room overlooked the dumpster; as in looked directly into the dumpster; not sure how you can fix that unless it had a roof :) Could use more seating in the lounge area for nights when it is crowded

Beds super comfortable, modern decor and clean. Restaurant on site very handy because hotel not close enough to shops. Reasonably priced re food, and delicious high quality. Venue has a big turnover due to wedding bookings, hence fresh food and top quality services.

Nothing, location would be inconvenient if you don’t have a car but there is a bus service very nearby - which is a good idea due to limited parking spaces in town

The staff and food was brilliant.

Had to get transport to go to salthill and galway itself, room had a really bad smell in it every time we went into it, we did mention it and they did come and clean it but the smell was still there, there was white powder under the chest of drawer and under the bed. They did come clean it up. Also thought our phone was broke as both chargers wouldn't work, but wen we got home the same charger is working so the plugs wasn't working either
