The toilet flush system should be upgraded (once you use it, it takes a while to allow you to flush again)

5-minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach; easy to drive around the Inishowen peninsula from here

The only thing to comment on is the toilet flush, it was very temperamental. However, other than that the house perfect for us!

The house was clean, bright and very spacious. The bedrooms all a great size. The location is so close to the beach, with a great front and back garden, space for multiple cars in the driveway. Also the views were fantastic! We stayed for 2 nights but could have comfortably stayed much longer!

the shower in the main bathroom could be improved, but being fussy. instructions regarding heating settings are confusing

the location was excellent, nice views. comfortable beds, clean house. loads of in house activities eg. games, dvd, books in case of bad weather available , not used because it was sunny. really happy 😊

On arrival property in total darkness, had to use own torch to find key box. On entering property, freezing cold & smell of damp. No instructions for operating heating & no fuel for open fire. Empty crisp bags & sweet wrappers in bedside cabinet. Very old electrics & no smoke alarms, a major concern... Towels were thread bare & hard, should have been dumped. Garage unusable, as locked & no key left. Vacuum cleaner does not work , needed emptied. General cleanliness of entire property except ensuite shower, was poor and very questionable. For the price charged, not a lot to ask for a pint of milk to be left in the fridge, or heat to be turned on remotely by owner prior to arrival.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

This is an excellent place. The house is spacious, warm and clean with absolutely stunning views. There is a big garden if you’re travelling with dogs. It’s not enclosed, so ideal for dogs with good recall or keep them on long leash for the toilet breaks. The beach is just a 5-minute walk and amazing with dog bins. The village is also a few minutes walk and there’s really good food in a local bar. You can cook as well, there’s everything you need in the house. There’s a tv Netflix, DVDs, and everything for teenagers who don’t want to walk and hike with their parents, but the family can still be together in the evening. It’s a home away from home.

Very dated property, the beds are extremely uncomfortable with a damp feel to them, every room had disposable dehumidifiers that needed replacing as so full. Dining room chair had wonky leg & shelves all on a slant. Freezer needs defrosting, ironing board broken, fire extinguisher was 13yrs out of date, electrical appliances plugged into numerous extensions. Poor WiFi. Overall the property needs an upgrade. Advertise a garage but this is not accessible. Old food left in cupboards.

Look in all honesty there were some very small points of issue, but these appeared to us as all those staying work in catering and entertainment, I don’t go into specifics because 99% of people would never notice them, so well done Ruth and thank you.

The location was excellent,such a view from the dining table in the morning was stunning.The local bars and restaurants delivered high guality food and beverages at what was very reasonable prices. An early morning stroll along pollen strand is just mandatory. If you don’t want to leave the premises there is plenty to entertain yourself self with dvds games and books.

The on suite shower room without a toilet is a bit unusual - but the shower was great (and the toilet just down the corridor)

The location and the views were fabulous!! Short walk to the beach and longer walk (or shot drive) into the village with hotels & pubs. The house was lovely and comfortable, kitchen well equipped.
