Arrived late but was greeted at the door and our host gave helpful recommendations to find provisions for our hike at Diamond Hill. Breakfast was lovely and made to order. I wish we would have arrived earlier so we could have enjoyed the property--there was lovely sitting room with a fireplace.

Parking is a little tricky where there are several cars. It might be nice to paint some lines so you can see where a dedicated spot would be. It's a bit of a free for all to just squeeze your car in amongst other guests.

Lovely and quiet place in beautiful and very walk-able middle of nowhere, very friendly and helpful hosts, who accepted us very late at night, and a very nice breakfast.

On booking breakfast photos there are some fruits and pastries - there were none in reality, just empty dishes... but Irish breakfast was brilliant, I have to admit. The area is just perfect for a bike ride - having the possibility to rent a bike at the place would add a lot of value to the offer.

The room was spacious, beds very comfortable, place easy to find, cooked breakfast included, lovely ensuite, on site free parking. The house is ideally situated to travel to many sites nearby . Our houses were lovely, available and provided excellent travel and restaurant tips .

The house is a few kms from restaurants, so you have to take the car to go eat. This was not a surprise as clearly stated in the description , and is aligned with the pricing.

Proximity to the beach and national park

We requested a cot at least a month before our arrival. Deliberately booked this B&B for the availability of a cot, of course we did not realise that it was on a first come first serve basis. "Subject to availability" did not exactly state that there would be only 1 cot in the whole premises. The family before us, we were told, overstayed by a night so they got the cot. This of course also applied to the highchair during breakfast. If knowing that a request cannot be met it would go a long way if an alternative were in place, rather than us having to ask upon arrival. For an establishment to be "family friendly" surely having more than one cot and high chair wouldn't be asking for much. As friendly as our hosts then tried to be,we did not find our stay as pleasant as we hoped for. We had already arrived at a bitter situation that was offered to be patched up only after a passing complaint was made. The cot and highchair, when we finally got the privilege to use them had seen better days. I prefer family run small businesses for the small gestures and warmth they give. This visit felt lacking and under par.

House was clean and comfortable in a beautiful setting. The garden was also lovely. You need a car to stay here, great access point for Clifden, Cleggan and more

The triple bedroom we had was good and spacious. The breakfast room was also very good.

Unfortunately, we had to pay extra for breakfast at the property and I was thought this was inclusive in the initial price.

Everything was lovely. One little problem (squeaky bathroom door) was sorted out immediately. Hosts were helpful about suggesting good walks etc in the area.

The west coast of Ireland has a lot of rain - we were unlucky to get quite a lot of it!
