We had to change rooms as we were initially in a room with a door to an adjoining room. The door was not a proper door so we could hear every word our neighbours said. The next room overlooked the front driveway. This was fine until we experienced some sort of car rally in the front drive in the wee hours with cars driving around and around on the gravel. There were no events on so not sure what was happening but it was very noisy.

Beautiful location with a very good restaurant. Staff were helpful and accomodating. The view from the bar area was absolutely stunning!

We had dinner in the evening. The food was good, but a minor issue was the serving staff appeared to be part-time, possibly young students. Though they tried their best, services was not good.

The accommodation was a one bedroom apartment. The living room/kitchen area was spacious. The bathroom had a heated floor, which was excellent. The only issue was the livingroom lighting switch which cauesd the lights to flicker on and off, so we had to switch off the lights. The breakfast was excellent

One side of the double bed was very uncomfortable, felt like no springs left in mattress and every time I turned I thought I was going to roll out of the bed. WiFi in bedrooms wasn’t great.

It is not a dislike. The veranda overlooking the golf course was a major plus and the panoramic view of the golf course was beautiful, my wife commented that it would nicer with flowers to enhance the view and maybe cushions for the seating to make it more comfortable & enjoyable.

The peace and tranquility of Castle Dargan is beautiful. I expecially loved the paths around the golf course that you can follow to enjoy an early morning walk. Beautiful views, so peaceful. Rooms are elegant and breakfast was perfect.

The equipment of apartment is a bit older and all the interior doors of the apartment bang terribly when closing themselves, which is disturbing especially at night. One bathroom is not enough for all three rooms (6 peoples).

We have one apartment with 3 big clean rooms, living room with view and kitchen. Breakfast was very good. Hotel is near to Sligo, in a beautiful landscape.

The only thing I did not like was the location from the city center but it didn't really matter because we had a car and could travel easily anywhere. The location was nice and quiet and next to a golf course. Lovely facility.

The hotel had breakfast and it was great! The rooms were comfortable (we stayed in an apartment type room). We used the kitchen to cook and the rooms were very comfortable.

We arrived to find an empty wine bottle in our room after the previous guests, the door fell of a very old stand alone wardrobe when I opened it, breakfast staff seemed a little overwhelmed with the amount of people for breakfast and the greens keeping staff start extremely early disturbing our rest, we stayed in the front of the house.

Good location for touring Sligo.

We had to change the appartment after arrival. In the first one, one of the rooms had a wet floor probably due to leaking radiator. There was a moldy, bad smell probably because of that. In the second appartment, the water flusher in the toilette was malfunctioning. Moreover, the bathroom ventilator was also always on, which was noisy in the night. All internal doors shutting automatically doesn't make sense either...

Nice location and beautifully green surroundings. Big rooms, lots of space. Great breakfast with many options!

Thought the general cleanliness could be improved - cobwebs and dust would not be normal in a hotel standard.

We stayed in a 2 bedroomed appartment and it was great to have the additional space for a family to relax. Teenage boys enojoyed the golf and we found it very reasonably priced.

We misunderstood the property to be an actual castle.

Lovely Quiet location with comfortable beds and helpful staff. Onsite restaurant with excellent menu and generous portions.
