Samantha was lovely and the breakfast was wonderful.

We arrived late but were met quickly and shown to our room, The location checked all the boxes. on an island, castle, and quiet, Breakfast was excellent .

Beautiful area, quiet and calm. Nice, comfortable and clean rooms and a beautiful garden outside. Beautiful view of a nearby castle ruins. Wonderful staff and delicious breakfast with great service.

Small parking area, but they were able to accommodate.

For me, the bed and pillows were too hard, the only thing I didn't like.

Great location, very quiet. Room was a good size and we had a lovely view of the castle. We were made to feel at home and the little dog 🐕 was so well behaved. Breakfast was delicious and very filling 😋 Would highly recommend.

Room.not very clean. Spider Web in the walls and lamps.

Clean room. Breakfast was spot on, plenty to choose from, and very tasty. Warmly welcomed and seen off the next day. Lovely views. Very happy ... thank you !

Fabulous location Really friendly reception Mattress was extremely comfortable We were leaving too early for breakfast but they made us a sandwich to bring with us and there was cereal and tea and coffee available before we left . We appreciated that . We loved meeting Roxie the dog 🐶

The room was so hot at night . We had to open all the windows but this brought in the flies and moths which were landing on me and waking me up . The shower was so tiny very hard to wash properly and I couldn’t open the door from the inside

Samantha and Patricia were so nice and nothing was too much trouble.

In a stunning location. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. The host ordered us a return taxi to the village pub.

Requires a little TLC and modernisiation

Good sized bedroom - exceptionally peaceful. OK Breakfast. Outdoor seating area (weather permitting). Island location at high tide.

No kettle/drinks facilities in room. 1 hard chair only, Shower room rather tight.

Beautiful location, we enjoyed exploring the nearby castle. The staff were very kind and the breakfast was excellent.

After reading all the reviews of people mentioning the beautiful views, I did not expect a room at the back of the property. It overlooked a trailer, from which someone emerged at times to smoke, which then wafted into our window. Our bedroom was tiny, we had to step over our luggage to make it into the bathroom. I feel terrible leaving this review because the ladies that worked there were so lovely. But if I had read my review, I would’ve gone somewhere else.

Waking up to the lovely view of the Castle and surrounding areas. Samantha was lovely and very welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and we loved Roxy their dog. Would highly recommend here. Thanks Samantha Catherine and Hazel

This is a great spot if you want a spot that's a little more unique. Not only was it situated on a small island, our front room had a great view of the castle nearby. The building is super cozy and our room had a double and single bed. The ensuite bathroom has been nicely updated and was perfect place to relax after a long motorcycle ride. Breakfast the next morning was excellent and a perfect way to start the day. It may be a little outside of town, but that's what we were looking for. We popped in to get some takeout which was the perfect compliment to a drizzly evening in. Be sure to stop by the castle too!

Over all it was good value for the price. Would stay again.
