We're thrilled you loved our excellent location right opposite the cathedral, had fun with the MoodPad, and that our ambassadors gave you a warm and helpful welcome. You've definitely picked up on our unique citizenM design! Our rooms are famously compact and clever – we ditch the empty space to pack in all the essentials, like that giant XL bed. The bathroom pods and open-plan sink are part of that signature, modern style. We totally get that it's a different setup from a traditional hotel and can take some getting used to, but it's all part of our mission to create an efficient, stylish space for modern travelers. We really appreciate your honest feedback and are so glad you had a great stay overall. We’ve designed them to be the ultimate sleep cocoons, packing in everything you need (like an XL king-size bed and a power shower) and nothing you don’t. This smart design is how we can offer affordable luxury right in the heart of the action. For all the extra space to work and play, our living rooms are all yours 24/7. Now, about the housekeeping – our apologies for the confusion here. To give our citizens more privacy and be a little kinder to the planet, our cleaning service is opt-in for stays of a few nights. You're the boss, and you can request a full spruce-up whenever you like via the app or by letting our ambassadors know. We’re sorry this wasn't made clear to you during your stay.
