The room was a bit too warm for me! We couldn't open the window but she says she is getting them replaced. This explains the 9/10 instead of full marks.

Everything! Maryanne is a gem! Friendly, kind, helpful and great fun. We could still be there chatting! Her dogs and cats added to the charm. Her breakfasts were delicious!! This accommodation is an absolute gem! The location is breathtaking, with the serene ocean just steps away, creating a tranquil and picturesque backdrop that made our stay truly special. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying the coastal views felt like a dream come true. The host deserves special mention for their exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely at home with her friendly and accommodating nature. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely kind and attentive, ensuring every need was met. The breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The variety on offer was impressive—everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. It was clear that great care and attention went into preparing the food, and it set the tone for a fantastic day ahead. Our room was immaculate—spotlessly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished. There was nothing we didn't like!

The hosts MaryEllen and MaryAnn, were absolutely wonderful! Maryann cooked us up a full, tasty, Irish/English breakfast which was our first in Ireland this trip. The views were spectacular and we drove to the lighthouse and the Bridges of Ross. I adore the west coast of Ireland even more so now, just gorgeous. We had dinner at The Long Dock restaurant and their seafood was phenomenal! You absolutely need to stay at this BnB!!

A perfect example of why guest houses and bnb’s are better than hotels. We had a warm welcome from both Mary Ann and her pets. The room was clean and well catered for and, perhaps most impressive, there’s a private section of cliff accessible from the back of the property. We spent almost 3 hours watching the waves crashing whilst we cooked up a dinner on the camp stove.

One of us is allergic to cats and that was not noted in the description of the property. The cats are kept out of the rooms and it did not both the allergies very much, however for someone extremely allergic it may be a consideration.

The whole stay was exceptional, we were able to do a load of laundry, the breakfast was amazing and it was do nice to have a nice large room.
