Quiet and nice "middle of nowhere" with a lovely path leading straight to the ocean (5 minutes walk, but no beach). Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Tea, coffee and cookies available all the time, plus a nice continental breakfast for free - highly appreciated!

Nothing negative

The room had all the comfort that you may need during the stay and it was very clean at our arrival. The breakfast was great, you can choose between a variety of dishes (fruits, jam, coffee, tea...). Moreover if you reach the house there is a large private parking lot. Last, but not least, the host was very kind and available in case of necessity ( it seems to stay in the family).

We loved our stay in this Place. The communication was always great before we arrived. When we got there, the host was very welcoming. The house and the room were very nicely decorated, the place actually looks better than the pictures. The room and bed were very comfortable. The location was great for us to explore the west and north of Galway. Very close to a grocery store and a short walk to the beach. The place was very calm and cozy, we even relaxed in the living room and watched the sunset as it has big windows. We loved our stay there. The host was so sweet that when we told her we were leaving at 6 am she mentioned that would leave the breakfast out for us. This place should have a better rating.

We stayed for a single night but everything was absolutely great. Hosts were available and really helpful, room and the kitchen were really well equipped, comfortable and clean, plenty of parking space, beautiful and well maintained surroundings and house, walking distance to the coast and shop/main road.

The room was a bit warm and it was not possible to open the window. The double bed was not very large, but perfect for couples. Breakfast was toast, butter and jam with tea/coffee only, but still good to have.

Great location, with a view of the open landscape and the ocean with some islands in the distance. The room included everything necessary and there are a lot of comfortable shared spaces in the house, including sofas with pillows, tables, where guests can sit, talk, work, watch tv, or watch the beautiful landscape. A fully equipped kitchen is also available, where you can prepare any meals.

Ann (the hostess) and her Austrian friend Günther/Erik were incredibly welcoming and the whole stay was very, very pleasant. The rooms were clean and everything we needed was there. The breakfast was also excellent and Erik kindly even agreed to prepare breakfast an hour early. The accommodation is perfect for visiting the Aran Islands. The airport is only a few minutes away by car and the ferry harbour not much further.
