The kids loved the bunk beds. I liked having the washing machine and dryer as it is so handy and also wash tables supplied. Bed was comfortable. The area was lovely, beach and play park across the road.

Had another guest accidentally access my room late at night - keys work for multiple doors apparently. Some road noise; Slane is on a motorway intersection so it gets busy early and people love to honk their horn at all hours.

Quaint hotel, with comfortable accommodation. The included breakfast was absolutely the best part of the stay, the Irish Breakfast was phenomenal.

The bathroom was tired, bath enamel chipped, paint peeling in places. Toilet seat unstable but clean and functional. There are 30 steps in a narrow staircase to reach floor two no assistance with luggage offered. Room affected by noise of kitchen ventilation. Wifi a bit patchy.

Car parking ok. Location was good and staff pleasant. The restaurant served pub type food but it was surprisingly good so we had dinner twice. Breakfast was excellent

The door handle came off on the inside of the bedroom we did report it so hopefully it’s now fixed.

Lovely bright room with and extremely comfortable bed.

Stayed here for 2nights with family as we were visiting funtasia & emerald park, hotel was perfect distance from both attractions. The hotel had upgraded us to across the road in Boyne House, room was great size & spotless. Didn't have dinner at hotel as we were out all day but breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

I booked a double room for the night as just needed to get away for some time to relax and on going to book in I was told my room had been upgraded which was a nice surprise especially on seeing my room. It was a beautiful room with really nice bathroom where I was able to enjoy a nice hot relaxing bath before bed in great old fashioned tub 😍. I honestly loved everything about my stay and would definitely recommend hotel to friends and family.

We arrived and the car park was full. We parked some distance away and carried two heavy cases to the reception. They could not find our booking!! Took them three attempts to locate it. Then we were told we had been upgraded (yes that's lovely) but it was a short drive away. So, we had to carry the cases back to the car in the rain and following directions to the upgraded room in another building. The room was lovely but there was NO wIfi. We hadn't been told this at the reception.

Only one VERY small issue. Our room was above the door to the terrace at the back, and this was occasionally noisy when other guests were going out to the terrace - probably for a smoke. This was not enough of a problem, especially since we were only there for two nights, to make a complaint or ask for a room move. Not sure what could be done about it, and it was not enough to spoil our visit

Cleanliness and staff. Food was lovely and reasonably priced.

They did put us in their secondary location across the street; The Old Post Office, and I would have preferred to stay in the main house. It was fine but not exactly what I had booked or hoped for.

Conyngham Arms is located right on the main street of Slane and is a great place to stop after visiting Newgrange. It was quiet and the breakfast was good.
