The house is in a lovely location, equipped with all the facilities you wish to have. The owner- Gerry, gave us a warm welcome with a lot of useful information. The house was nice and warm. Lots of TV channels available plus a good wifi signal. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. My family enjoyed evening walks in the nearby forest. Lots of amazing views.Great place for a holiday. Highly recommend , thank you !

Not entirely private (no issues for us at all, but the property is very close to main house which I can imagine being strange when the owners are at home).

Hidden gem in a beautiful location, the property itself was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a family or small group who enjoy exploring places of natural beauty! Very close to Aherlow House hotel (we were at a wedding during our stay and this was a 5 minute drive). Beds were all comfortable and there was plenty of space to play and chill out. Great large dining table for those enjoying a big meal at home. The garden if fabulous! Shared with the main house, but we had it to ourselves and met the very friendly and helpful gardener who gave great advice on local spots to visit. The owner was in touch on day 1 and was easy to contact with any questions we had (with quick and helpful responses)

Just about everything. The only issue was the bedding being too hard for our liking. Otherwise a great home, location and very peaceful. Local walks were lovely, and close proximity to areas of interest.

It wasn’t made clear in the listing that the owners live in the house on the property. It wasn’t a problem but I would encourage you to list that in the booking page. Additionally the lack of a dryer or easy drying of clothes was a bit difficult for us. I would encourage you to provide an indoor drying rack. Thanks!

Gerry was a wonderful host and was readily available to help with whatever we needed! Loved the cozy and relaxing feel of the house, and the surrounding around in the Glen of Aherlow was so gorgeous!

The plumbing and electrical fixtures are very European, which seem a little complicated to Americans.

This is a great place to stay for anyone interested in hiking or bicycling in the area. It was really comfortable, peaceful and quiet. The word "cosy" often means "small", but this house is spacious and well-appointed.

Not a negative for us but anyone booking should realise this accommodation is country living eg water pressure may be less than in the cities.

Located in the beautiful Glen oh Aherlow, this property was a haven in the busy travel itinerary. Homely with well stocked kitchen of utensils and some essentials like tea coffee and washing detergent.
