The shower cabin could do with a makeover though it was functioning perfectly fine.

The property was in a great location, within driving distance of a number of great pubs and restaurants. Noreen was a lovely, welcoming host who paid great attention to detail. Everything that could be needed was provided by Noreen and she even had a list of nearby restaurants, bars and things to do which was very helpful. Bed was comfy and room was nice and spacious with a lovely view. Even had a little milk for your evening tea.

We had a lovely stay at Dal Riada. The room was spotless and very spacious with fabulous views out to sea. The breakfast was delicious and our host was very welcoming, providing us with great suggestions for dinner and local beaches nearby. Would definitely stay again!

Noreen is a wonderful hostess. The beds are amazingly comfy. She thinks off and offers lots of treats and advice. The scones and wheaten bread with a lovely breakfast was very special. Can't recommend it enough.

Very comfortable and clean with attention to details such as little welcoming gestures from the warm and lovely host Noreen who has thought of everything. The delicious, generous and beautifully presented breakfast in the conservatory is not to be missed, it filled us up for the day! Lovely spacious room with beautiful and far reaching views. A little further out from Gweedore than I thought. Room a little chilly on arrival and in the morning…but heated and cosy in the evening. Decor and facilities a little dated…hate commenting negative things when it’s also a persons home as we all have different tastes, but aesthetics do have a play in overall experience.

Home from home! Like being looked after by your mummy! Everything we needed. Comfy bed. Good shower. Home baked treats on arrival. Tea/coffee making facilities in room. Milk provided. Excellent breakfast in conservatory (cereal, toast, OJ, tea/coffee and cooked options - pancakes made for my 6 y/o a lovely extra touch) with lovely views. Excellent service. Lovely host. Perfect for an overnight stay or two. Loved exploring the beautiful nearby Bunbeg beach. Selection of venues for food nearby also.

A really nice place and friendly hosts to stay with in one of the most unspoilt and impressive areas on the Irish coast. Several pubs have live music in the area.
