Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was a little on the smaller side but perfect for a solo traveler.
Staff really nice and welcoming. Perfect location in the center of Dingle. Bed really comfy. Lovely pub with nice food underneath and lovely staff

I didn’t dislike anything it was ideal for us
The room was ideal for what we needed for our last minute one night stay, it may not be ideal for a longer stay but that was the budget room

The bed was acceptable but it could have been a bit more comfortable. We were in room 2 and there is a bit of noise from the AC units but we still slept fine.
We got a warm welcome and quick intro to our room as well as how to get to the rooms which was at the side of the building, we were happy with that because we didn't have to go through the bar to get to the rooms. The location was perfect - it's central dingle, everything is walking distance. It's basic but the price matches. We got plenty of towels, the shower was good and everything was spotless clean.

Shower - water was tepid. Breakfast options weren’t communicated. Overlooked rooftops that were a bit tatty looking which added to the general feeling of it being a bit basic for the price.

The location is really central and Dingle is lovely. Staff giving us key were really friendly and accommodating. The room is small and basic but really clean and very good value for the centre of Dingle. It was exactly as we expected

I think booking.com or pier house should make it clear especially for female travellers that these rooms are at the back seperate to the bar and that once the pub shuts at night there is no security or anyone to call if you have a problem

The bed was a bit small and the duvet, pillows etc were very basic.
Basic but everything you could need. Spotlessly clean, excellent location. Great blackout blinds and very quiet even with its central location.

The only thing that caught my attention was the provision of an iron but, as far as I could see, no ironing board. As it turned out, I didn't have time to ask the staff downstairs about it though. Also, the sound proofing into the corridor isn't great either.
A location that could scarcely be beaten. Everything just a short walk away. Rarely have I ever been anywhere cleaner.

Bed was small double that's about all I have to moan about which isn't much!! Maybe needs net curtain or frosted glass on bathroom window as you can see in I thoight it was absolutely fine though would stay again

The room very compact and warm fans from the kitchen very noisy from early morning.
The location was first class room was spotless but very small definitely not the pic that is advertised but how and ever it served its purpose ... staff downstairs very friendly helpful would visit again

It was clean but bed is small for 2 people. It was a full bed. Also only one chair in the room. The tv is extremely small and hung way too high. We Stayed for 3 nights and were given only one wash cloth. We did get more later. The shower is tiny. It is a very small unit. It should be advertised as a one person small bedroom and bathroom.

Shower waters was not consistent Need curtain in bathroom People could see in if you didn’t pull the blind which was a blackout blind A bit noisy in the mornings but that can’t be helped due to the location
