Breakfast was great! We enjoyed a lovely walk in the garden, along the river, and across the little island over the bridge.

The breakfast was a little disappointing; the pancakes tasted as though they had come from a packet.

There was a lovely walk around the property. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and it was convenient to be able to get a meal on site.

Room was very warm, no air con did provide a fan however no bottled water provided especially with how hot the day was when we stayed it would have been nice to have to ensure their guests were hydrated as the hotel is not located near the town, shop or garage to go buy some.

Food was excellent and staff were friendly and attentive.

Unusually warm weather in Ireland during my stay, room was very warm as a result, no air con, not the fault of the hotel though.

Excellent staff and very friendly and approachable. Nice clean room, slept very well. Fantastic breakfast, best in a long time.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast lunch & dinner food is absolutely gorgeous.This hotel staff are amazing they make this hotel more special. Room was perfect very comfortable bed & great shower.. Thanks so much 😘

The hotel is a little dated. The shower ran hot and cold and positioned over the bath was awkward to get into. I felt unsteady using the shower. The taps in the sink were very stiff to turn.

The bed was excellent and I got a good a good nights sleep. Even with two evening functions going on there was no noise to prevent sleep. The breakfast was excellent and good value for money.

The use of duvet with no top sheet. Duvets are too warm this time of year so you have to decide; be too hot or be uncovered. This is in most hotels now here in Ireland and with no A/C it is not realistic.

Everything! Cannot explain how greatfull we are it was the treat we needed from start to finish 2 fantastic night's away!

Lack of a fridge - though I know fridges are often not standard in Ireland and UK. Lack of a vegetarian option with protein for dinner though the Thai red curry we had with veg and basmati rice was delicious.

The staff in all areas - reception, housekeeping, at the restaurant were friendly and helpful. When we asked for anything eg towels, ice it came very fast - much better service than in any other hotel i have stayed in around the world. Beautiful grounds and a v good breakfast. Daughter had fun playing with the rubber duck - cute touch! Also responses were v fast even when making enquiries before our stay.

No AC (during the hot night of our stay was very very missing). We found the staff at the reception very helpful and kind. I can’t say the same thing about the restaurant staff.

The noise at night. People shouting in hallways at 1 am and talking loudly in the parking lot after 4 am so it was hard to sleep. Breakfast was good.

The staff were very nice. Beautiful building. Nice rooms.
