Great staff, nice bedding. Discounted parking but parking.

No air conditioning- opened window - couldn’t sleep bc either noisy bar patrons and street cleans at 3am. Way too hot with window closed but dampened some of the street noise. Discounted parking located 3 blocks from hotel- tough to carry luggage thru the city - would be nice for hotel to provide instructions to drop bags and then park.

Excellent location in Temple Bar. Beautifully decorated hotel with lots of character. Loads of bars, restaurants & attractions nearby all within walking distance. Plenty of public transport options. Great bar & restaurant in the hotel too with welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were a good size and bathroom immaculate. Our rooms were overlooking the main road so it was quite noisy with the window open as it's summer, but there were ear plugs provided! No noise with the window shut though. Will definitely stay again.

    Property response:

Dear Rob, Thank you so much for your lovely and detailed review – it truly means a lot to us! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed our central location in Temple Bar and that you appreciated the character and style of the hotel. It’s wonderful to know that our team made you feel welcome, and that you had a great experience both in our bar and restaurant, as well as at breakfast – we’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to the staff. We're also pleased the room size and cleanliness met your expectations, and we appreciate your understanding regarding the lively atmosphere outside – especially during the summer months. We're glad the earplugs were helpful and that it was peaceful with the windows closed. Thank you again for your kind feedback – we’re absolutely thrilled to hear you plan to stay with us again. We look forward to welcoming you back! Warm regards, Dublin Citi Hotel Management

    Location. Bed was comfortable

Basic accommodation, toilet handle falling out of cistern, tap was loose. Not worth the money we had to pay for the weekend. Very noisy pub attached to hotel

    Property response:

Dear Keri, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed our central location and found the bed comfortable – it's great to know those aspects of your stay met your expectations! We're sorry to learn through your review that certain elements of the room did not meet the standard we aim to provide though. Please rest assured that these maintenance issues have been noted and passed on to our team for immediate attention. We also regret that the noise from the pub impacted your experience. While the lively atmosphere is part of the character of the venue and of Dublin's Temple Bar Area in general, we understand this may not suit everyone and will continue to look at ways to improve soundproofing where possible! We truly value your feedback, as it helps us improve both our facilities and guest experience! Thank you again for your comments, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future under more comfortable circumstances. Kind regards, Dublin Citi Hotel Management

    Property response:

Dear Valerie, Thank you so much for your kind words! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed our brilliant location, the bar and restaurant, and especially our welcoming team – they’ll be so pleased to hear your lovely feedback! We're sorry to hear that some aspects of our facilities, particularly the furniture, appeared dated to you. Central location and easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The room was clean and beds were comfortable enough. It was very hot in the room so we were glad to have a window that opened for air flow. Front staff were friendly.

We knew we booked a small room, but it was so small there was no where to put our suitcases and they had to lay on the floor in front of the room door and bathroom door, which made it very awkward to get around in the space. The elevator could use some signage as to which button takes you to which area of the pub and hotel lobby.

    Property response:

Dear Blythe, Thank you for choosing Dublin Citi Hotel for your stay! There is no air conditioning (very common across Ireland), but a fan is provided. The window opens only very slightly, so not much circulation. Do not expect to be cool. But we knew all this in advance.

    Room was cozy(very small)

Wi-Fi very poor, laptop didn't work, it was August but 64F outside, inside very hot, small fan not enough, two ceiling windows didn't provide enough ventilation After flying 36 hours, flight from EWR cancelled, redirected in opposite direction across US, I arrived at noon, lobby was empty, quiet, no phones ringing; asked blond receptionist when I could check in: without pausing, blinking, checking her computer she immediately said "anytime after 3pm" Will not be staying here again and yes I'll be in Dublin at end of the month. Very poor customer service, at least fake it and look at your computer or pretend to call housekeeping and then tell me, "so sorry, no empty rooms "

    Property response:

Dear John Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations, especially after such a long and exhausting journey. While our standard check-in time is from 3:00 PM — which is particularly important during the high season when the hotel is running at full capacity — we always strive to accommodate early check-ins whenever possible. I’m sorry we were unable to do so in your case and that the interaction at reception came across as unhelpful. That’s not the experience we want any guest to have. We also regret that the room conditions and Wi-Fi did not meet your needs. Your feedback on ventilation and comfort has been noted, and we’re actively working on improvements in those areas. Although you’ve mentioned you won’t be returning, we do appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It helps us improve, and should your plans ever change, we would welcome the opportunity to offer you a better stay.

I was in room 309 which had two tiny windows that barely open. And these windows face the exhaust vent of a restaurant downstairs that blows food smell coming directly in the room. With no AC, it was impossible to close the windows with the hot temps.

    Property response:

Dear Parind, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay! We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced in room 309. As a historical hotel, some of our rooms - especially those located under the roof - do have smaller windows due to the building’s original layout. Unfortunately, that’s not something we can easily change, though we understand how it can affect the experience during warmer weather! We truly appreciate you bringing the issue with the restaurant vent to our attention. Guests comfort is a top priority, so rest assured we will take the necessary steps to improve! We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with a more pleasant and comfortable stay in the future! We’ll be happy to provide you with a different room that better meets your needs then. Kind regards, Dublin Citi Hotel Management
