The body wash provided was hand soap. The room was very noisy especially early in the morning when we got woken to kegs being delivered.

Bed was comfortable and large. A fan was in our room which was nice for summer.

There was no lift. Had to carry suitcases up three flights of stairs. Pretty expensive. Staff was nice but also worked as wait staff so very busy.

Its location was very close to pubs shops and restaurants.

    The breakfast was expensive

Located in the heart of Killarney. Ideal location. It's about a 10 minute drive from the Gleneagle Hotel if you are going to a concert.

The room we got was probably above the kitchen, so when we arrived there was a bit of smell, but it disappeared later on after the kitchen closed.

The room was big enough, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom had good facilities. Excellent location in the city center, close to affordable parking lots. The restaurant offers traditional food and beers, with live music and a friendly staff.

Only I could have done with an additional towel. I am sure I could have asked for one but didn’t. Very noisy when the pubs around the property closed but that died down eventually and could happen in any town.

Breakfast was lovely, beds comfy. Could have done with an extra towel. Bedrooms (we booked 2) were newly decorated and gorgeous. No lift - it is an older property so probably not possible to have one. Centrally located and a 24 hour car park close by. Really lovely stay and this is the second time we have stayed.

bed was 2 twins put together but still comfortable

Location was fabulous. We loved the Hotel and the owner is lovely but the highlight of our trip was the grandson to the owner. His name is Colm who works in the bar. He was warm, welcoming and very personable. I cant speak highly enough of him especially being in the bar business myself over 30 years. I would go back again and again and again. Lovely Hotel

If you need to have a good night of rest, this is not exactly the right place. It is on one of the main streets full of pubs, there are people making a lot of noise until late at night.

Noisy with the windows open but that’s what you expect staying in the centre of town. Would be nice if parking was part of the hotel as we were lucky to find a parking spot in the next door public carpark.

Great location right in the centre of town. Newly renovated room, the shower was great. Good dinner recommendation after arriving late.

    Location

Good value for the money. Excellent location. No elevator, which we knew and was not a problem for us. If you have a lot/heavy luggage, it could be. Check in was efficient. Staff was clearly more interested in getting thru it than being helpful. Can’t comment on restaurant as attitude of staff at check in convinced me I would go elsewhere.

My partner is lactose intolerant, and they didn't have non dairy milk options, so we had to go somewhere else for breakfast. Also the tv wouldn't switch on we were only there one night so we didn't ask staff for assistance.

Tastefully decorated, great value and the restaraunt serves good food.

Check-in is a bit confusing - you are told to go upstairs, but there was noone there so the chef had to run down to grab someone. Not a deal breaker but something that could be refined.

We chose the Failte because of its central location for a one night stay on our way up to Dublin. We were really pleasantly surprised by the beautifully refurbished room - the bed was a great size, and very comfy and the shower was the best we've had on our trip! For what we needed it absolutely delivered.

It is a bit dated, but they were installing new carpet when we were there. Cigarette smoke was in the halls and room due to the pub downstairs as people stand outside and smoke, which comes in and gets trapped. I am allergic so this is the only complaint I have.

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay and it’s in an excellent location. The staff offered excellent customer service with easy check-in. We enjoyed the restaurant on the second floor. The lamb chops on mash with gravy was super delicious. The national park is a couple of minutes away, and you are steps away from all of the shops and restaurants in Killarney. We were driving a rental car and parked in the large parking lot that was steps from the hotel. We would definitely stay there again as it is so centrally located.

Only downside is the lack of a lift given our room was on the top floor and we had a heat wave at the time.

Location was perfect and the room was modern. The restaurant was superb and the staff was exceptional.

The stairs and hallway leading to the rooms smelled of stale beer and smoke which is odd since you are not allowed to smoke in the rooms. Our room did not have an odor. The beds were mediocre in comfort.

Great location with close parking. The rooms were over the bar which we enjoyed because of the live music we could hear from our room. Restaurants and pubs were all very close.
