Close to town. Relaxing jacuzzi outside with gorgeous view. Also a sauna if you choose to use that. Comfortable and quiet room. Host is helpful and friendly. Good parking.

Very comfortable and quiet, no fuss sort of experience. Very modern and spacious building and facilities. I particularly liked the extra touches like proper coffee and a French Press for the morning - wasn’t expecting that! They make many notes of being 2km out of town, so I suspect there have been complaints - but it’s really not that far, no issue even though I was travelling on foot.

It was clean, affordable and the host was fabulous!

There isn’t a common space — sleeping arrangements and bathroom only.

The bed was comfortable, the room was lovely, clean and warm and the house was quiet. The location was wonderful, with scenic views to the front of the property overlooking water and mountains.

The amount of instructions that I received from the property via messaging on Booking.com, and the abrupt tone of the messaging made me feel anxious about my arrival and what I would be met with. I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice the property was but I would recommend reviewing the altering of communication style and content made with guests. E.g., 'We are 2km on the outskirts of Portmagee. If you want to stay in the village, please book a place in the village'. There is a nice way to say that.

Good location even though not in centre this didn’t matter. Good view from the bedroom towards the bridge and sea. Very clean and great shower and tea coffee etc. very good value for money. Good communication with hosts prior to arrival.

The mattress was comfy but the bed was a little squeaky. Probably just needs tightening up a bit. Really would struggle to find fault the accommodation has been well thought out.

Great location. Beautuful scenery. Highly recommended. Great place to stay at a very reasonable price.

Bed is too rickety, and I had to put a pillow between headboard and wall to keep it stable. The toilet seat is loose.mirror in the bathroom is too small and hung too high.

The 25 euro per booking on the sauna and jacuzzi was well worth it. The host was very helpful and provided us with a return taxi to the local pub.

It is close to the little town with a great seafood restaurant and the port and close to Cliffs of Moher.

    1) we were not advised that there was no water upon check in. It took 4 attempts and over 3 hrs to get water service restored. Was told it was due to power failure and would be restored soon, only to finally find it was a trip switch that was never engaged...once the trip switch was found disengaged, the water was restored quickly. They did apologize but it was frustrating to have to keep inquiring, especially after a 2nd text went completely unanswered and had to go back to the ring doorbell to speak to someone... 2) toilet seat was hanging on by its last thread so had to be very careful when using it. 3) bed rocked back and forth so much, we were afraid it would break. We stuffed a pillow behind the headboard so it wouldn't rock anymore 4) the brown cover on top of the duvet was very dirty with several stains and hair 5) rented rm # 2 for "sea view" which is only viewable from the far left side barstool at the door.

Paula was fantastic. The accommodations were perfect for a quiet repreive. Close enough to the towns but far enough away to have a little retreat. The massage, and hot tub were a wonderful suprise. Thank. you Paula!

This property was perfect for me. It is a great base for exploring the wonderful places around Valentia Island, The Skellig Ring and Portmagee. Paula is a wonderful host who is available to help with anything needed. She gives great info on where to eat in the area, from where to get breakfast to amazing evening meals!

I could find no faults during my stay.

Clean basic accommodation in a converted house. Grand for what you pay for. Don't underestimate that it's 3 km from portmagee pubs etc so you need a car etc - road not suitable to walk safely either. Plenty of tea and coffee and water in room too
